My experience was overall good! :) The facilities of the Hostel are really amazing, it is one of the most beautiful hostel I have ever been for sure and Albufeira is breathtaking. You will have long hours of work but this is compensated by 2 days off per 2 days worked. The hostel is always perfectly clean and it is one of the most important focus in the daily tasks. Many rules are established in that sense, for volunteers and guests. If you are 100% committed to the work, are responsible and feel comfortable with hard work and rules, this is the perfect place! You will never forget Albufeira!

I agree with almost everything you write, except the "hard work" part. During your 8 hour shift you sat at least 5 hours on your private computer or on your phone and were not working for us. I had no problem with it, because this year there is almost nothing to do because we have much less tourists, but if you consider working here "hard work" then you truly never worked hard in your life.

No OTH fiz amigos de todos os cantos do mundo, guests e staff, que estarão sempre no meu coração ❤️ Aline e Roy, não tenho palavras para agradecer por tudo, foi incrível compartilhar esses meses com vocês, muito aprendizado, muitos sorrisos, muitos lugares incríveis que vocês me apresentaram e serei sempre grata por tudo, amei poder conhecer um pouco mais sobre vocês e suas histórias! O hostel é extremamente limpo e organizado, os turnos são ajustados de forma que ninguém se sente sobrecarregado e sempre temos tempo livre :) Já sinto saudades 🥺 ano que vem to aí de novo ❤️

As três semanas que passei em setembro no hostel foram as melhores possíveis. Havia um equilíbrio na escala de trabalho para que todos pudessem ter tempo livre para aproveitar as praias maravilhosas de Albufeira. O trabalho é bem explicado e bem dividido. Roy e Aline são ótimos e fazem todos se sentirem em casa, inclusive com comidinhas deliciosas. O Sunny, o cachorrinho deles, deixa saudades em todos que passam por ali.

What can I say? I was at the hostel the previous year as a guest and the atmosphere is so good that I went back to work and the result was one of the best summers of my life. The fact that it was after the quarantine only made things more intense: interactions with guests, the family that the staff became and the relationship with the owners. So many wonderful days at the beach, friendships, great memories. Thanks so much Roy, Aline (and Sunny!) for this unique experience. I wish u all the best for this place and I will definitely be back asap! NO PASA NADA! Com amor, Beto

O hostel é lindo! Super limpo e organizado! Os voluntários possuem um espaço próprio que inclui quarto e um outro Terraço, o que é muito bom! Tem o Sunny, o dog mais fofo do mundo! As horas de trabalho são intensas, mas em compensação é possível aproveitar bastante os dias de folga, conheci praias maravilhosas! A equipe foi ótima, todos se ajudavam! Adorei todos! O Roy e a Aline são pessoas incríveis e super trabalhadoras, merecem todo o sucesso do mundo! O jantar preparado pela Aline era delicioso (um carinho no estômago :). Agradeço muito, valeu a pena, espero muito revê-los! Obrigada! s2

It always depends on the beds you have to change. 😁 The staff have their own garden with swimmingpool. Which gives you a place to recover. Roy is an amazing host. He is generous, easy going and a beautiful soul. Aline, Roys girlfriend cokked every evening a delicious dinner for us. Even for my as a vegetarian! I loved it. Sunny, the hosteldog made my day every morning. Aline & Roy thanks for your trust, your hospitality and of course for the TABIOCA! 😉

Foi a primeira vez utilizando o Worldpackers e não poderia ter escolhido um melhor local para iniciar... no hostel , todos foram como uma família para mim, ótima vibe , ótima comida e ótimas amizades. Agradeço muito ao Roy e à Aline pela oportunidade e por todo o resto !
