My experiencie at Sae Lao was amazing. I should of stayed for 2 weeks but I extended for more one. The project is so nice, the local team is so lovely and the volunteer so fun. I met people who I will remember for the rest of my life for sure. Thanks Tui for always be there when we need your hand. Thank you Peter for leading this project, the local kids are learning sooo much. Thank you Steven, who arrived 2 weeks before me and started to manage and organise all volunteers. Thank you Sae Lao to change me for the better. I will never forget you guys. 💜

I loved my time at the project . If you're looking for a chilled vibe and not a lot of pressure this will be the place for you . The children are lovely and so are the staff .

The experience within the Sae Lao association was an incredible experience. All of the association's teams were attentive and available throughout my stay. The guesthouse was very comfortable. The activities offered within the association were very nice and allowed us to meet a lot of people and create connections. The hours spent at school with the children were unforgettable for me. I recommend 100%!!!!!

Saelao it's a project that really aims to make a difference not only on the children we teach but also in the local community. We realise how much still needs to be done in Laos and how important is the education and the inter cultural exchange. When we hear the sentence " it all starts with education", you really understand why and how in this project. It's not always easy and at times it can bring a lot of frustration. But please don't miss the opportunity to make a difference even if it is only in one single child or in one single local. We can all add a lot here and leave with much more.

Sae Lao is an amazing project which brings together people with ambitions for a better future who are grateful for all opportunity to improve, and people passionate about helping others. A positive atmosphere of collaboration is created thanks to sharing even common daily tasks between all volunteers. The Lao team is incredibly friendly and makes sure everyone feels welcome and comfortable. Participating in the project is a unique experience that gives one a chance to dive into local culture, leave a positive impact, as well as develop their own personal skills.

I had an amazing experience at Sae Lao; in fact, I wish I had the time to stay longer. Not only did I meet incredible people, I also grew in my abilities to teach English, which is something I'd never done before. The atmosphere at Sae Lao is very welcoming, and the staff work really hard to provide quality services to the local children. I highly recommend Sae Lao to anyone looking for an authentic experience in Lao, as well as anyone who wants to slow down for a bit and spend time with some lovely children.

My volunteering experience at SAE LAO was wonderful!! I felt very welcomed and had the opportunity to meet many incredible people during my time here. The team's dedication to providing free accommodation for the kids is truly inspiring. Big thanks to Tui, Peter, Vee, and the rest of the team for making my experience so positive- it felt like being part of a big family. The kids were so respectful and nice, I loved teaching them!! It's an experience I'll keep for life. Food and accommodation were also good! - The curriculum could use some work, but I'm sure it'll be more effective in time

I had an amazing time at SEA-Lao Project. The project itself is super inspiring, the community is excellent… They make you feel at home from day one. Teaching and being surrounded by true Laotian people it's a great experience that I will never forget, thank you :) You will wish to stay for longer!

I LOVED my time here, I actually ended up extending from 2 weeks to a month and would definitely recommend it. I met really amazing people and loved teaching English to the kids 🥰
