Your tasks include tidying up common areas such as the small kitchen, bathroom, living room, and bedroom. 🧼🛏️ On check-in days, you'll wash bedding and make beds to welcome our guests. Shared House Cleaner and food delivery

You will be asked to work 20 hours per week, stay for at least a month and pay a refundable security deposit of $175.

If you would prefer to work 10 hours per week (instead of 20) and pay $12 per night (half the regular rate of $25 per night), you may choose that option.

The required weekly cleaning only takes about 5-8 hours. There will likely be some remaining hours left each week for you to complete doing food delivery. Delivery will be with DoorDash or Uber Eats using an Ebike in the local condado area.

Actividades & Turnos

Most of the cleaning tasks will be on site where you are staying. The cleaning/working hours will generally be between the hours of 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. seven days per week depending on bookings from short stay websites. We ask that you coordinate your 2 days off per week with other volunteers so that all 7 days of the week are covered. We prefer to have 2 volunteers here at all times that do not come together so that there are not gaps in the schedule when departing at the same time.

Shifts and hours
Each volunteer will work between 2-4 hours per day 5 days per week. Bed preparation for new arrivals must be completed between the hours of 10 a.m. and 3 p.m but other common area cleaning can be completed as or when needed. Most days cleaning tasks will take less than an hour per day but the person on schedule that day will be given credit for at least 2 hours (or more) regardless of how long it takes to complete the tasks as long as every scheduled task is done. If you are the only volunteer during a specific time during your stay, you will be able to pick your desired 5 work days for that week until the 2nd volunteer arrives. When there are two volunteers, you will be able to pick your desired work days every other week if both of you prefer to take the same days off during any given week unless you both agree to separate days off throughout each week so that all 7 days of the week are covered. If you end up renewing for a longer term and you need specific days of the week in order to work another job, we can probably work around your schedule. There may occasionally be work at other locations in San Juan. If so, we can help with transportation.
