James has the warmest, most infectious laugh that you can't help falling in love with it, I will always treasure the moments spent sitting on the ground together, talking by the fire. He is so thoughtful, kind, and full of gentle humor. Living in beautiful the farm, I was surrounded by warmth and care from James's family and neighbors. I shared my days with the lovely Polo, Vida(no one is able to say no to her), and cute gentle horses and dogs Timi, Buddy, and Lulu. This experience has changed my life and I I hope one day to return and see everyone again: )

I had a great time in this place, the farm is a peaciful and beautiful manor in countriside. Is near dublin...almost 40 min by train. James is a lovely host and did everything to help me to be more comfortable. There are two lovely host cats too : Pollo and Vida. Food is really amazing, James has a good taste for food and art. I d be glad to come back and I reccomend this place.

I had a lovely time at the farm. James is a warm and friendly host, my room was cozy, and the food was great. the farm is a beautiful and historic manor house with grounds and a greenhouse. I deeply enjoyed the gardening, propagating the ancestral roses, weatherproofing furniture, and doing prep for painting. Also, a hearty shoutout to the cat, Paolo, who is a sweetie pie and a champion. Thanks for having me, it was a wonderful week.

My time with James was just amazing. He's funny, attentive, and really welcoming. I took care of his cat Pollo (chicken for the Italian learners), helped with the renovation in the house, and had a lot of funny moments. The food is really delicious, and we had a lot of music exchange. I loved it. The work time is really flexible, and we improved our building skills together, I can say. 😂😂 Hope to go back someday!

My first time in Ireland and I felt thankful by the trust to help to restore one of the bedroom of a charming medieval farm house. My host, James is a polite and kind man with a lovely giant black cat. He gently picked me up at the airport then took me to my friend's house in the end. He let me do my routine and gave me all assistance needed. The meals; he cooked more times than me in return. We went out to buy local organics. He took me to the beach and the cozy village of Naul and also to his sister's home. I owe him interaction time but I gave my best working. Blessed be him
