Program Description:
Join our sustainable farm in Uganda for a unique experience in farming, community development, and cultural exchange. As a Worldpacker, you'll work on our farm, engage with the local community, and learn about Ugandan culture.

Actividades & Turnos
As a Worldpacker at Muzungu Farm, your daily activities will include:
Daily Activities Checklist:
- Farm work:
- Planting and harvesting crops
- Feeding and caring for animals
- Maintaining farm equipment and infrastructure
- Community development:
- Participating in local community projects
- Assisting with education and healthcare initiatives
- Engaging with local villagers and learning about their culture
- Farm maintenance:
- Cleaning and organizing farm facilities
- Assisting with repairs and construction projects
- Maintaining farm records and data
Shifts:
- Morning shift: 7:00 am - 12:00 pm (farm work and community development)
- Afternoon shift: 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm (farm maintenance and community engagement)
- Evening shift: 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm (dinner and relaxation)
Note:
- Shifts may vary depending on farm priorities and community needs
- You will have two days off per week to rest and explore the local area
- You will be expected to be flexible and adapt to changing circumstances
Reglas
Rules:
As a Worldpacker at Muzungu Farm, we expect you to follow these additional rules:
1. Respect local customs and traditions: Uganda is a conservative country, and we ask that you dress modestly and respect local norms.
2. Use of technology: We have limited internet access, and we ask that you use your devices responsibly and only for necessary purposes.
3. Alcohol and substance use: We have a zero-tolerance policy for excessive alcohol consumption and substance use on the farm.
4. Safety and security: We take safety and security seriously, and we ask that you follow all instructions and guidelines provided by our staff.
5. Respect for the environment: We are a sustainable farm, and we ask that you respect the environment and follow all guidelines for reducing waste and conserving resources.
6. Community engagement: We encourage you to engage with the local community, but we ask that you respect their privacy and boundaries.
7. Farm equipment and tools: We ask that you use farm equipment and tools responsibly and only for authorized purposes.
8. Mealtimes: Mealtimes are at 8:00 am, 01:00 pm, and 7:30 pm, and we ask that you be punctual and respectful of others during meals.
9. Quiet hours: Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am, and we ask that you respect this time for rest and relaxation.
10. Emergency procedures: In case of an emergency, please follow the procedures outlined in our emergency protocol, which will be provided to you during orientation.
Consequences of not following rules:
Failure to follow these rules may result in a warning, and repeated offenses may lead to termination of your stay at the farm. We take these rules seriously, and we expect all Worldpackers to respect and follow them.
