We absolutely loved this volunteering experience. We stayed in Pécs for several weeks. Klaus is an incredibly kind and flexible person, always willing to help and explain everything that is necessary. Tobi is also a very kind person, always willing to help at any time. Communication was very pleasant, we were able to learn many things, and we also had enough free time to explore the surroundings of this charming place. I 100% recommend this volunteering opportunity.

I had a great experience through Tobi, who helped me connect with his friend Klaus. Staying at Klaus's place was great. The work was easy, and the hours were short, which allowed me to enjoy my time. Klaus treated me with great kindness, almost like I were family. He made lunch for us every day, and we had many great conversations. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxing. If you're looking for a nice and quiet place to stay, I definitely recommend Klaus's place. Thanks, Tobi, for helping me find such a wonderful opportunity!

Tobi is a really nice man that gives clear instructions. Even beforehand he made sure we were on the same page as him. The work is nice and working hours/day can be flexible sometimes. The food was first really monotonous and little, but it improved into being definitely good. He gives a lot of privacy which sadly also means that we didn't have a lot of funny talks. But in generell I can only recommend him.

The house was not finished and it was all provisionally, but we knew beforehand so it was no problem. The communication was very good and we even got to know each other a bit before we joined the restauration. Everything was very clear and we had the opportunity to go to a bigger city on our free days. The work was not hard and we got a lot done

Me and my girlfriend had a great time with Tobi and Maya and Neo. Tobi was very welcoming and friendly and the tasks were fair for our stay. We stayed in a cozy tent and the work we were given was nice as we felt as though we were helping Tobi out building his eco project. We cooked and shared meals every day and its very handy that theres a lidl just 15min walk away. Tobi has a electric scooter that we were allowed use which would make the trip only 5min. There is no hot shower on the property but there is a hot shower in a caravan park just beside lidl. Overall highly recommend 👍

My volunteer experience was very nice, I really recommend it if you are looking to connect with nature and venture into the van ife. The tasks are easy to do and you have time to explore around Lagoa. Toby is a very intelligent, responsible, friendly and respectful person. It was an opportunity to learn about German culture and also about his travel experiences. I couldn't leave without mentioning Maya and Neo, they are beautiful and loving doggies. They really stole my love.

Work included daily cooking (2-3 times), doing the dishes and gardening (no animal care). in hindsight, i'd stick to the worldpackers agreement because due to a lack of tasks, tobi had me pay for food with me working less than 4h a day in exchange for accommodation. this led to some disagreements but we resolved them. i would recommend this experience to those seeking a quiet time, but not to younger people because you'll be mostly on your own as he needs to work in his van over the day and there will likely be no other volunteers your age.
