Hi! So my stay there was amazing, but what went down after I left was kinda weird. There were super lovely people in the staff which made my stay incredible. But I don't know who runs the place now, because the host made the two leave. Also some scetchy stuff was going on right after they left… the volunteers who stayed longer than I left immediately because they felt unsafe! I can't tell how it is now but I wouldn't really recommend… the host seems to have an interesting style of running the place.Working hours were nice though, lots of time to get to know the island. Message me for more :)

Hi Bente, thank you so much for your comment after more than 2 week you left our place, Im not sure what to write to you as comment.Overall your work is fine, and i only manage to saw your volunteering for only 4 days, the rest was under the old management. I think your comment is unfair when you dont know the whole story and fact, you only heard on 1 side of story, and commented about others experiences not related to you, i also think having a regret having you when i already saw you had 1 negative experiences by others host in Thailand before you come over and volunteering my place. As on 12.jan 2024, i had 2 female volunteer here and all goes well,. I wish you all the best on your trip and knows a real fact before write a personal comment.

Wooow. I love the home Paddy. From the minute I arrived, I felt at home. Home away from home. Ena and Zul are amazing, I don't even have enough words to describe them. Mun was always looking out for everyone, he even gave us the day off at Christmas. The place is so relaxing and if you want to explore the Island, you can take a bicycle or a motorbike (they are free for volunteers). Work hours and days off are respected. I learned a lot about Malay culture and I already miss everyone!

Absolutely amazing experience. The island is really beautiful, especially if you stay away from busy touristy areas. the home — the best place for it. You can observe sunrises, sunsets, eat your oatmeal breakfast with the best view. Task were pretty simple with no time pressure at all! I was surrounded with a lot of love, care and positivity from our hosts. Zul&Anna super funny and creative personalities, was so interesting to become a part of their family for a bit 🫶🏻 one of the highlights was definitely an opportunity to use one bike from villa, thank you a lot for it! Overall: 10/10

Sono stata qui solo tre giorni, la famiglia che mi ha accolta e che gestisce la struttura è meravigliosa! Mi hanno supportata in un momento di difficoltà facendomi sentire ancora più a mio agio! Un luogo immerso nella natura, gestito da persone meravigliose! Ottima esperienza di volontariato, vi sentirete come a casa 🥰

This experience was amazing the work is quite easy and you have lots of free time to explore the island. The hosts Zul, Ena and Mun are so welcoming and really make you feel like part of the family. I already miss the family meals Ena would make and getting to try a lot of local food. It was a great experience that I would definitely recommend.

My experience at the home has been nothing short of amazing! The hosts are the kindest people, and really make you feel at home. I will miss the beautiful views, amazing cooking, and the 4 cats as well. I would recommend this experience to anyone who wants to enjoy a simple life in beautiful nature. The work was very reasonable, as guests checked out I would clean their room and get ready for the next guest. Thank you Anna, Zo, & Mun :)

I don't have enough words to express how amazed and grateful I'm with this experience. I felt home here and they're the kindest and sweetest people, received me as a family. The place is gorgeously in the nature, surrounded by fantastic mountains and rice fields. Accommodation is great, cozy, comfy and tidy. The food is really local and fabulous, either from the shops nearby or made by lovely Ena. She, her husband Zul and family, and Mun (btw this guy is the kind of host WP needs) made my trip very much special in Malaysia. Many thanks you all for having me at your place and this connection!

I had such a lovely time volunteering here, such a relaxing place where I found myself surrounded by the beautiful view and exploring around. Kakena and zul were so accommodating and I always enjoyed having a good chat and kakena's amazing cooking which I'll miss a lot (and the cats)!

The home is a very welcoming place located in a truly beautiful place on Langkawi. My daily tasks were to clean guest rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and the kitchen. I also cooked for volunteers and myself as well as painting and getting the place set up (they just opened). It was a great experience with good vibes! The host, Wan, makes you feel like family, and if you're lucky you'll get to experience a unique local event. During my stay, we got invited to a local wedding!

The home is located in a really nice area with amazing view and quite far for the from the touristic area (it's up to you how you feel about it). Basicaly the daily tasks were cleaning the rooms after checkout, bathrooms, common areas, cooking for the team and socializing with the guests. I didn't have a fixed routine for the day or working hours. The day were quite chill most of the days, as They don't have that many guests yet (just reopened after the pandemic). I was lucky enough to have other volunteers around, what make my time there worth it. The island is really beautiful.
