I had an amazing time with Roger and Laura! They are experienced volunteers themselves, knowing how to make your stay truly special. I felt at home right away and could easily be myself with them. We shared hours-long conversations losing track of time and I cannot even describe the beauty of nature I got to see in Ubatuba. Roger being an amazing photographer, gave me an absolute confidence boost too with the shots he took during our hikes. Of course, there is work too. It isn't hard and I was never left alone. I am so grateful for this amazing time with these two beautiful caring souls! 🌸

We're so happy that you got to be our model, girl! And as you said it yourself, although you were concerned at first because of your insecurities, you were surprised and impressed when you saw the shots. You realized that your only job was to be and enjoy yourself, without even thinking about the camera. In the end, you could see yourself from a completely different perspective! In other words, we managed to reveal your beauty and it was a complete self-confidence boost as you so well put it!

É a segunda vez que voluntario aqui e dessa vez fiz uma coisa muito diferente pra mim, participando das criações de fotos e vídeos como modelo. E mesmo eu sendo uma pessoa mais tímida, o Roger fez eu me sentir super a vontade e tudo foi muito natural e divertido, os momentos gravados foram todos muito espontâneos, durante trilhas, idas a praia, etc. Foi incrível pois além de ter sido um trabalho muito divertido de se fazer, eu voltei pra casa com muitas fotos lindas desses momentos especiais em Ubatuba e me sentindo muito mais confiante comigo mesma também. Espero poder retornar em breve 💛

As you said it yourself, we hike with volunteers to untouched places in nature, where we can certainly reconnect with nature and our true nature. 🌿🌺 As part of this experience, we invite whoever is with us to be our model in photoshoots and videos, a beautiful way to improve our self-esteem and heal our distorted view of ourselves, revealing the beauty of our being. And I believe that our beauty always appears when we simply show who we are to the camera, that's it! ❤️🎬😍

Esse foi meu primeiro voluntariado e foi muito especial pra mim. Não tem como descrever a energia de estar com o Roger e a Laura, é uma coisa que eu espero que você tenha a sorte de viver e sentir, pois me tocou profundamente. Eles me ensinaram muito sobre conexão com a natureza, com os animais, sobre espiritualidade e energias. Agradeço ao Roger pelas trilhas, por me mostrar praias incríveis e por me passar tanta confiança em momentos desafiadores. Agradeço a Laura pelas conversas profundas e inspiradoras que me ensinaram tanto. E espero que tenha sido especial para eles como foi para mim ✨

Que lindo saber que essa sua primeira viagem, da qual tivemos o prazer de participar, trouxe tanto aprendizado e teve um impacto tão forte na sua vida, linda! 😍
Também sentimos que esse tempo juntos foi um presente do universo para todos nós. Como vimos pelas Runas, quando estamos abertos física e emocionalmente, um fluxo de energia é criado entre nós e isso permite que todos nessa troca se curem e sejam curados. Esse “presente do universo” é a maneira como os Vikings definiram o amor. ❤️

It was a pleasure to share these few days with Laura and Roger. They were absolute sweethearts and they absolutely understand the volunteering experience. Furthermore Roger took of his time to show me some really nice spots of Ubatuba. They also shared with me their experience of massage and runes reading which I really appreciated. The work is not to hard and the girls I was working with really nice :) Thanks a lot for this great volunteering experience!

Working as a volunteer at the hotel has been such a pleasure. The whole team was so welcoming! The work was not difficult at all and the accomodations were awesome. Laura and Roger were so kind to me, they made me feel like I was at my own home and we've shared some nice moments and life stories. I felt really connect to the people and the place. Thank you tou so much for this opportunity, I will never forget!

Staying with Laura and Roger, the heart and mind of this project, was a mind-blowing experience for me! It's amazing how a few days can change your life! You'll surely have a lot of time to experience all that they to offer: amazing hikes deep in the jungle, refreshing waterfalls that no tourists have access to, enjoyable bike rides around the village and more. I felt particularly grateful for the massage experience as I was invited to get out of my comfort zone in such a sweet way. This helped me to change my view of my own body and emotions and even the way I see relationships! Thank you! :)
