"Come as strangers, leave as friends". It was my first time volunteering in worldpackers and just loved it. Task are really easy and you have a lot of free time. I could say many good things about this place, but you'd better try it. I expected to make good friends, work and have fun, but I got a family instead. I highly recommend this place if you wanna be part of a family in a nice place. Thanks the hostel to put the right prople on my way. I have no words to express how important you are to me now.

It was an amazing experience!! The tasks are perfectly estructured and easy to do, anyone can do them, it also lets you plenty of time to explore the city and the surroundings. How to begin describing the staff? I absolutely love each one of them! And Im going to miss them so much! They are warm and welcoming I felt like home. Every monday they do staffhangouts where every member goes to the beach and have fun and once a week its family dinner where everyone helps cooking dinner and then enjoy it all together.

The hostel is a great place to stay and volunteer, I worked in cleaning and gardening and the work conditions were really fair. There is plenty of free time to go out on tours or explore the area. The atmosphere in the hostel is just amazing, everyone is super friendly and welcoming. I even decided to come back after 2 weeks because I liked it so much. So all in all I can totally recommend coming to the hostel for a couple of weeks to volunteer and to enjoy Puerto Escondido.

I would like to thank Erik and Luis for my amazing short staying in the hostel. Unfortunately I couldn't stay longer cause I had some family issues , so I had to come back home in a week. It was a very pleasant time while I was there. All the volunteers and guests treated me as a family member ,they were lovely. My duties in front desk and breakfast was very fair and pleasant, at least the little that I learned. Good luck for all of you and hopefully I can come back soon one day. ♥️

The staff is the best! Erik and Luis are very cool with the working hours. I even felt guilty because of not doing a lot hahaha and I think they felt I was doing a lot, lol. Thanks the hostel for this two weeks! thanks for your trust, since this was my first time as a volunteer. :)

Very nice experience with a lot of exceptional people maybe the only thing that I would point out is to improve the quality of the bathrooms

I spent 3 weeks in the hostel. It was a really nice experience. Erik el dueño es super buena onda. I totally recommend. only thing I need to point out is to try to manage better the late/morning shift - othewise you will work till 22PM and the other day work at 8AM. Gracias a todos.

Working in the hostel was simply amazing! I had a great time and made friends for life! The owner Erik and the managers Isa and Dani are the best, always trying to understand and help the volunteers and take care of everything need to make the hostel one of the best places (guests just can`t leave the hostel because it fells like home). I couldn`t recommend it more, awesone experience! =)
