La experiencia

We are a small rural place in South Ethiopia near Arba Minch. Currently the site is under major development to become Africas largest eco training centre amd be able to host national and international visitors starting 2025. We have enough local people helping in the construction and garden work. What is missing are management skills to teach wonderful local people with zero English language skills in welcoming and manage guests.

Programa detallado

This would be the first program where volunteers can help. The program is based on a 3 year NGO project to develop a practical training ground for green technologies.

Actividades & Turnos

The daily activities would be to connect with the local operator of Gamole and the local NGO in English. Staying at Gamole you would oversee ongoing construction related to hospitality and make sure they fit the basic requirements for visitors. Local staff are super friendly ethnical people that need to be trained and managed to match external visitors.

Basic rules and expecatations is to be friendly as usual and try to find the right cultural balance and patience between tribal and western cultures.
