I spent three weeks in the village and it was undoubtedly an experience I will always cherish. All the people I met were wonderful to me, always available, always trying to make me feel good in any circumstance. It is certainly an experience that allows you to live 100 % their authentic daily life. It's a wonderful project, beneficial for the children, and it would be wonderful if it could continue to grow. I'm grateful to the entire group I spent these three weeks with. I've grown very fond of them and I hope to be able to visit them again one day. (PS: the food is delicious!)

I stayed for two weeks in the project. It is a great place to see the local the homeand to be immerse in the culture. The English classes are really fun for the kids and the teachers aswell :) The kids are a bit shy when someone new comes but they're the sweetest and so enthusiastic to learn, specially when (us) the teachers do like games and so. Sani is really committed with the project and is always there in case you need anything. He gave us some really useful Indonesian classes. Pia, Dayat and his family are warm and cook delicious meals.

I had a beautiful experience, immersed in local village culture, and surrounded by like minded volunteers. The team has been given a new school building, which we cleaned and decorated. It is a big space that is great for teaching the kids in. The location is perfect, within walking distance of the beach and only a short drive to Sengiggi where we surfed everyday. We spent most evenings watching the sunset on the beach and then eating a range of AMAZING local food. On our days off, we visited the secret gilli island (at an additional cost) where we were the only group camping. Surreal.

My time at Tajuan the homewas so special !! We taught the children English, did beach cleanups, made eco bricks and helped improve the volunteer accommodation through various DIY projects. The highlight of this experience was definitely the people, Sani, the team and the children are all incredible and welcome you as part of the family. They even took a whole group of us to the secret Gilis where we sang around the fire and snorkeled with bioluminescence. The food is also amazing !! I felt so comfortable, had so much fun and laughed a lot. Highly recommend this volunteer experience :)

Sani and Taylor are a very beautiful couple. They are doing their best to help the village learn English, and they even care about the neighboring village, making sure they also receive the education they need. They are also working hard to clean the village of plastic and have created trash bags for everyone to use. Life with them was so quiet . Sani is an active person, so if you want to explore all ofthe home, he is a great tour guide. I really appreciate what he is doing for his people. I also enjoyed the company of Gouga and Refal they are so funny to do activities with

This was amazing experience everyone was so lovely and kind I felt at home right away. Teaching English to the children was so nice and they were so happy to be involved in learning, it was also rewarding to teach the adults as they were so eager to learn the whole environment was so lovely. Also the food was AMAZING a huge breakfast and dinner of local food, then on the days off we went to some beautiful places inthe home. Also I enjoyed playing cards in the evening. I would love to come back if I could give 6 stars I would :)))

Taylor and Sani are welcoming, friendly, relaxed, kind people, with great English. They helped me learn a little Indonesian. Their homestay is nestled on a small hill in the village, beach only 1km away and all the tourist restaurants only about 5kms a short trip by 'grab'. The locals want to know who you are and invite you to their homes for meals. The children are happy and eager to learn and play and will often come to the homestay to visit. We took the children on some adventures and taught English through these outings as well as the traditional structured way in class. Loved my stay.
