This experience was truly amazing. Ana and Anabella were incredible host and I felt like part of the family (they are social, funny and have positive energy). I already miss them, the cats and the baby chickens. The place and the work was really nice and flexible. I learned about construction as I built a stone wall and I enjoyed it a lot. Living off grid is an experience that you have to try if you are interested in nature, countryside or you want to disconnect from the city. You can also go and discover the villages around the area with the bike. I really recommend it!!!!

My time at the shelter with Ana, her family & the other volunteer was truly unforgettable. If you're looking to immerse yourself with animals & off grid living, I highly recommend this experience. On the farm, I had a chance to learn more about caring for animals and work on the garden. Ana and her family was very accommodating and always explain the type of project very well. I definitely enjoyed this experience.

This was my first worldpackers, and an invaluable one. I learnt so much from this experience, about cats, birds, offgrid life and cooking. Before going, I knew little about poultry but Ana taught me everything I needed to know and gave very clear instructions and advice. The family was so welcoming and incredibly easy to get along with, from water fountain drives with Nenu, games in the pool with Neo, and delicious dinner every night with Ana and Anabella. Communication with them was consistently open and honest. They always prioritised our own ideas and interests. I enjoyed every minute :)

Ana and her family were so welcoming towards us from the beginning. They made us feel at home and ate dinner with us every evening. All the food was delicious. We were also taught how to make a variety of foods including bread and cinnamon swirls. They were very respectful of working hours and made sure we enjoyed the work that we were doing. swirls. There were always lots of cats and poultry wondering about the property including a cute little chick. Thank you so much for the amazing experience and thank you to Neo for always coming up with fun games to play in the pool.

My friend and I arrived really late at night, because our flight was delate. We had a very hard arrival and nothing was going as planned. When we met Ana, she showed us our tent and asked, if we have any questions. We had two questions: first where our sleeping bags are, because we couldn't see them and second where we can brush our teeth. I did not expect, that there was potable water or anything. I just wanted to know, where I can spit my toothpaste. Her reaction was very harsh. She said, that we are unthankful and impolite. I said sorry for that. The next morning we had to go back home.

I did my best to welcome you at arrival at midnight- much later than planned. I showed you to your tent- prepared with all you needed, and explained we’d go over everything more clearly in the morning as it was dark and we have limited electricity at night. I felt uneasy about your attitudes and expressions. Your comments and behaviors raised concerns for me about the atmosphere and safety of our space and the other volunteers. I made the decision knowing that Worldpackers provides you support.

The experience was some kind of disconnection. Totally out of the comfort zone yet very cozy. Be ready for the camping site and all that comes with living in an out of grid place. They are just starting in this way of life, so somethings are simple/improvised and there's lots of improvements to be done beyond the animals routine, so it's essential to be proactive and don't depend upon a defined schedule. Ana and Anabella were very welcoming, flexible and direct with us. I really miss them and Scarlo, Ginger, Amando, Ash and all the other animals.
