Programa detallado
We expect our Worldpackers to be dedicated, self-motivated, & passionate about nutrition, cooking, and healthy living. You will be responsible for planning & preparing weekly menus that align with our clients' fitness goals, shopping for fresh ingredients, cooking meals, & ensuring the cleanliness & organization of the kitchen and bar area. Attention to detail is essential, as you'll need to calculate and record the macronutrient content of each meal and price them accordingly.
In return, you'll receive shared accommodation (a room or dorm), 2 meals, & drinks. You'll also have full access to our fitness facilities, including the gym, indoor & outdoor pools, paddle courts, 3 weekly fitness classes, 3 Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu sessions, and 3 kickboxing classes. You'll be part of a supportive & health-focused community, making a meaningful impact while gaining valuable skills.
Actividades & Turnos
Review and update the weekly meal plan based on clients needs.
Adjust meals per order as required for weight loss or general health.
Shop for fresh, locally-sourced ingredients.
Organize and store ingredients in the kitchen.
Prepare daily meals as per the menu plan.
Ensure portion sizes, taste, and presentation are consistent.
Calculate and document the macronutrients (proteins, fats, carbs) for each meal.
Clean and maintain the kitchen & Bar area, ensuring it remains hygienic & organised.
Volunteers will work 5 hours per day, 5 days a week. The schedule can be flexible based on meal preparation needs but will generally include a combination of meal prep, cooking, and kitchen maintenance during the day.
Reglas
Energy Conservation:
Volunteers are responsible for saving energy by turning off lights, fans, and appliances when not in use.
Cleanliness:
Clean up after yourself in shared spaces (kitchen, bathroom, dorms) and maintain a tidy personal area.
Laundry:
Volunteers must handle their own laundry, keeping their clothes and bedding clean.
Safety:
Everyone is responsible for keeping the area safe by locking doors and windows at night and when leaving the premises.
