I really enjoyed my stay at the farm. My highlights were the funny evenings with the other volunteers, the animals and meeting Audreys nice friends. I also loved to work with the horses and going on rides, even they are a bit challenging and need more training. I alsways felt comfortable because I had my own room and the atmosphere was positive. Audrey does an impressive job managing the farm by her own and I admire her work. Sometimes I whished a little more calmness and structure, especially in stressful moments. If you are looking for a real canadian experience, this is the place

I loved my time at the farm! Audrey is a very generous host who tried to make sure all of our expectations were met. The work was very diverse and fair and our hours were respected. In our free time we could take the horses to go on a ride, though they need some training. Everyone who was at the farm was incredibly friendly and there are people there that I will miss a lot! I felt there were some misunderstandings about how we should approach some tasks, but Audrey did try to make the work more structured. I am so thankful I got to experience the true Canadian countryside living!! <3

I came in the farm to live an immersive experience in a true Canadian the farm and it's not hard to say that it was beyond my expectations. Audrey is an incredible woman, very welkoming and she always tries to make things convenient for you and the other volunteers. I found at there a 2nd family with amazing people from all over the world with whom we bonded so well. Audrey allowed us to ride the horses very often, you just have to be aware that they're not easy horses and it's a whole process in order to prepare them but once that's done, fun is all yours ! Thank you for everything Audrey

From the moment I arrived to the farm I felt like I was home. Audrey is a dedicated, welcoming host who made me feel like part of the family (and who cooks incredible meals). I had an amazing time with the other volunteers as well, and all our free time was filled with rides, game and movie nights and lots of laughs. I will forever remember Audrey and her animals, and everyone in Hudson Bay that made this experience unforgettable. I will miss visiting Brenda, Michael's “safari rides”, Bert's cowboy expertise, and most of all, Glen. Thank you, for everything.

My stay at the farm was only a month long and within my first few days I had already felt like I had found my home away from home. I am very grateful for Audrey and all the experiences she managed to arrange between herself and friends of the farm, and really feel like I could be myself around everyone. I really appreciate the level of trust Audrey placed with me regarding her animals and the opportunities this allowed for, and feel the people I met along the way will feel the same as we had such genuine fun and laughs with all the animals. I can't promise there were no tears when I left :')

Audrey is a wonderful power woman and is a true role model for me in what can be achieved if you want it enough. It was not only Audrey's hospitality and delicious food that made the stay so special. I was part of the social life of the farm as well. I also met the most amazing volunteers that I could think of. I had so much fun at the farm while cooking, gardening, fixing stuff and more. During free time we went to ruby lake, on rides, learned roping and so much more. Some exceptional things I could go to was a rodeo, the radio station and a carriage ride. I'm already missing it!

Audrey runs a lovely bed & breakfast in rural Canada. The daily tasks either consist of outside work (checking horses, cleaning cabins) or inside work (prepping food, cleaning). The work hours and days are always exactly as listed. I enjoyed my time at the farm, and the other volunteers truly make the experience! However I'd highly recommend that you need to be able to entertain yourself and enjoy free time as during time off the other volunteers might be busy and there's not always something to do. Overall, I'd recommend the farm to anyone looking for peace and quiet, mixed with a fun time

The farm is a really cozy place and if you make the effort, you will get a family abroad! I would say that this experience is more like a home stay, and helping with the B&B, than learning about the farm life, but if your looking for a place where to connect with people around the world and to make fun memories, this is definitely the place for you! I had a great experience and will forever remember my stay and the people I meet!

I spent two months at the farm and it was an incredible experience. Audrey is a strong, generous, and very understanding woman, especially with my English. She made me feel at home from day one. I shared time with colleagues from different countries and we formed a small family. The horses, the dogs, and life on the farm reminded me of my childhood and filled me with joy. Thank you, Audrey, for your love and for making this place so special.
