Working at the hostel was an incredible experience. Since it's a relatively new hostel and the team is very open-minded, there's always space to contribute your own ideas and personality. The tasks are straightforward, and your role as a volunteer is genuinely respected. I truly recommend volunteering here! 🙏🏼

Mes deux semaines à the hostel furent mes toutes premières semaines de volontariat, et je suis ravie d'être tombée sur eux pour cela! L'auberge est récente alors tout y est possible, il suffit d'être force de propositions car les patrons sont ouverts aux nouvelles idées et à l'amélioration de leur hôtel, c'est un projet qui leur tient vraiment à cœur! Toutefois, les horaires de travail sont assez flexibles; à moins de travailler à la réception à des heures fixes, les patrons nous laissent libres de gérer notre temps, pourvu que le travail soit fait!

Nous avons mis qq jours à prendre nos marques dans cette jeune auberge où il n'y avait pas encore vraiment de cadre. Mais une fois que cela fut fait, nous avons passé un véritable bon moment de partage avec Angel et Manu (les patrons) qui sont solaires, ouverts, sympas et prêts à tout pour nous faire découvrir la culture locale par divers biais. Nous avons pu nous arranger concernant nos horaires et apporter notre touche vraiment personnelle, en faisant de la peinture par exemple. Ils ont respecté et mis en œuvre nos idées. Et nous avons adoré les moments de fun entre volontaires

I am actually still here at the hostel because i love it here so i extended. This is such a cool place to work. The lads are chill, open to new creative ideas and fun to be around I consider them friends as a posed to just hosts. The hostel is right in the center of all the activity of panajachel close to the beautiful view of the lake. If you have a specific skill you would like to exercise/show off I highly recommend getting involved in their project🤙🤙

I had a great time at the hostel! Everyone was welcoming and i felt comfortable and at home there. Both angel and manu made an effort with everyone and made my first volunteering experience a great one. Everything was communicated well beforehand and the hours and tasks that were agreed upon were stuck to and didn't change. It was low season while i was there so not as much to be done but that is to be expected sometimes. I would recommend this place for anyone wanting a fun hostel that's in a good area and easy to settle into. Thank you for a lovely time!
