Manoj made my volunteer experience very successful! He gave me tasks that were clear! But above all his hospitality is out of this world! He not only gave me a place to stay but also shared a lot about local culture making my experience rememberable! I truly experienced the local culture through this volunteer job!

I'm so thankful this as my first Worldpackers's experience. I was met by the most loveliest host Manoj, who really made me feel at home. I spent the days exploring with him and capturing, creating content locally. Which was so special being able to explore Kandy. Manoj was very open and shared lots on the culture & meditation practices which was so nice to learn on. You can see why people tend to find themselves back at this hostel because Manoj really makes this place. Also the food was so so good I looked forwarded to sitting at the table and eating with Manoj everyday. Many thanks Manoj

I had my first successful volunteer opportunity. Manoj was very kind during my entire volunteering days. Absolutely loved shooting content and bringing things which were once thought upon by him into life. I had complete creative liberty of what I wanted to do in videography which was the best part. the hostel Kandy felt like home in the end days♥️

I had an amazing stay with Manoj in the hostel. He is super friendly and great to have conversations with. Lunch is very tasty. The atmosphere in the hostel is great and there are always interesting people around to talk to or do activities with. The working hours are respected and the communication with Mano about the tasks is good. The location of the hostel is in the centre of Kandy, the lake is 2 minutes by walk.

Sri Lanka is a beautiful country that I highly recommend visiting. I stayed in Kandy, which has amazing local food and plenty of volunteer opportunities. My host was very kind and hospitable, and I enjoyed meeting other travellers and learning from their stories. It was an unforgettable experience that I'm very thankful for.
