Este voluntariado fue uno de los mejores, Mario y Monica me hicieron sentir parte de la familia desde que llegué a Skrova y tambien los demas voluntarios que estaban en la casa. Las tareas son faciles, las horas son respetadas y son flexibles si necesitas algun dia libre para conocer un lugar nuevo. Trabajar en el restaurante fue super divertido y llegás a conocer mucho a los locales que son un amor. Recomiendo muchisimo este lugar en invierno si quieres ver auroras boreales y estar en contacto con la naturaleza rodeada de montañas nevadas. Sin dudas volveré en verano tambien :)

What an incredible experience the host! Monica and Mario were so kind, generous and welcoming; and made our time with them so great! We were fully immersed in the community of Skrova, and learnt so much about their way of life. Work was flexible and enjoyable; with tasks including setting up Christmas decorations (which we loved!), helping in the host and doing general cleaning/tidying. Hours of work were decided together and always very fair; and we always felt appreciated for our time and work. Monica and Mario have created an incredible volunteering opportunity! Thankyou xx

It was an amazing expirience. Monica and Mario are great hosts and Skrova is the most beautiful place I've ever seen. The time flew by really fast there I deffinitly reccomend the expirience.

A wonderful experience that I would recommend to anyone! Monica and Mario are sooo kind and generous, and they have lots of experience traveling and hosting volunteers. Skrova is STUNNING and so peaceful. It's also possible to take trips to other parts of Lofoten on your days off. The work itself is simple, hours are well respected, and you're given a lot of trust and autonomy to complete tasks. I'm very grateful that I was able to be a part of the team the host this summer. I would love to come back and visit again soon! ☀️

Staying at the host & the host was truly an unforgettable experience. From the very first day, Monica and Mario made me feel at home with their kindness and generosity. The work is simple, fair, and hours are respected, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the island. Skrova is breathtaking: small, peaceful, and full of activities like hiking, swimming, biking, camping, sauna, and beach days. The accommodation is spacious, there's always food, and bikes are provided. I came planning to stay less but ended up wishing I could stay much longer. Thank you for everything!

Simply amazing!!!! I had my best time the host. I've been here for over a month and even if the island is really small, i never got tired of it. I wish i could stay longer! Monica and Mario are incredibly kind and since the begining i felt really welcomed, both by them and the other volunteers. The work is about 5 hours per day, that leaves you with a lot of free time to enjoy the beach, hiking, swimmig, biking, camping and just spending time with the other volunteers. I highly recommend this experience.

6 starrssssss. This experience was amazing. I was supposed to stay a month and stayed almost two. Monica and Mario are incredibly kind and I really enjoyed being here. I got some good the host experience, spent a lot of time relaxing on the beach, cold plunging, sauna, camping, biking, etc. the accommodation is super big and there was lots of food. They also provide bikes to get to the host which is super nice. I absolutely recommend to anyone wanting to experience the magic of Skrova!! Thank you again Monica and Mario🇳🇴🇳🇴🇳🇴❤️⛰️

Our time the host was amazing. We felt very welcome from the beginning and really enjoyed being part of the team. The work was fair and well organized, around 5 hours a day, and we still had lots of time to spend with the other volunteers. Everyone was kind, helpful, and respectful, which made it easy to learn and work together. The atmosphere was always positive, and we can truly recommend this place to everyone. The nature the host is magical and we will definitely come back!
