Josip is an amazing and kind young man who is trying his hardest to overcome the challenges his has in life. This experience is truly eye opening to see how blessed you are to have some of the most basic things. My main role was to take Josip swimming because that is one of the only things he can do for exercise. While I was there one of his parents was there the whole time helping him in the house. You are also there to become a friend of his, it means so much to him to have people who treat him like a normal human and joke and talk to him. I would recommend going with a friend or a partner.
