The home is a small universe full of creativity, mindfulness, and exchange. For those seeking simplicity, genuine people, and creative calm, this place offers more than accommodation: it offers resonance. Everyone there made me feel part of something real. Days flowed between fixing, sharing deliciously homemade food, exploring and talking late into the night. As a volunteer you will have the opportunity to find a task that suits you best. the home is genuine and full of warmth. A place that will forever stay with me. Thank you Pinoy, Pioy and Piban🙏

My experience at the home was without a doubt the best volunteering I've ever done. I felt at home from the very first day, the people who live there make every corner magical and special. You feel truly welcomed, the place is beautiful and cozy. There you get in touch with the local community and a different way of living. It was hard to leave and I can't wait to go back. The activities were varied, the food delicious, made by Pi Oi. I already miss everyone! I recommend this opportunity a million times!!

I have no words to express how grateful I am for my time in this volunteering program. It was my first experience as a volunteer, and I couldn't have asked for a better one. I was lucky enough to meet amazing people here, experience Thai culture like a local, learn about ceramics, and discover beautiful places. I'm so thankful — special thanks to Pi Noi for creating such a wonderful community, and to Pi Oi for the delicious food❤️‍🩹

We had the loveliest time at the home. Oraphan and her son Leon were very welcoming and willing to teach us a lot about their culture whilst also providing us with a beautiful place to stay. It was so lovely to be able to work with the clay in our spare time, and Oraphan kindly showed us different techniques for hand building. They showed us around the local area and they had really cute animals! Oraphan's pottery and story were beautiful and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a truly unique experience.

I genuinely had the most magical time living at the home. Spending so much time in nature, being surrounded by beautiful statues. I felt so warm and nourished by the community — the other volunteers, P.Noy (owner) and P.Oy (takes care of the studio), and even the local shop owners. I loved visiting the ceramics studio every day. My favourite memory will always be eating lunch and having coffee with the other volunteers every day and getting to know them surrounded by the sounds of nature. If you wanna immerse in Thai culture and connect with art, nature, gastronomy, and people, you're in the correct place. What you need is to being open to any task and a lot of initiative, is more about what you can do with your experience, knowledge, strengths, etc… instead of receiving indications. The only think I would recommend it would be to have some experience in construction, coz that it'll be so helpful in the place where you're to make some renovations, unless if you're with an experienced volunteer like I do and he can teach me.

My experience was truly inspiring. The people at the home are so loving, always eager to share and enjoy good moments together. We had creative times in the ceramic studio, and a lot of cultural exchange with other travelers and local people. The working hours are flexible and adapt to your interests. We also explored the surroundings, and they always made sure we had everything we needed to feel comfortable. Thank you for all the love and learning!

I adored staying at the home and working alongside all the lovely staff, other volunteers and animals. it was such a dream being able to work with ceramics again and learn new techniques from the best. all while being amongst nature in a slower-paced village just outside of chiang mai - this was great. i enjoyed learning ES's production process and watching the slab patterns take form. thank you so much for this experience, i am grateful for my short time here 🫶🏻

The host is a very kind woman and passionate about ceramics. We were hoping for a real pottery experience, but it was rather an accommodation with no specific tasks to accomplish. We did not feel our added value and we never felt particularly useful. The village, 40 min from Chiang Mai, offers a peaceful setting in the middle of nature, ideal for recharging. However, taxi rides to Chiang Mai are expensive (100-200 baht) and not always easy to organize. The food was delicious, local dishes cooked on site. But the accommodation conditions were difficult, mattresses on the floor, water leaks…
