Si vienes a Salento y quieres estar rodeado de naturaleza recomiendo este voluntariado. En el hostel te hacen sentir como en casa, todo el staff es muy atento y amable, hay muchas actividades para hacer en el hostel como en el pueblo. Puedes hacer hikes, visitar distintos miradores con vistas increíbles, hacer tour de café,etc. Después de mi tiempo en el hostel no quisiera irme ya que mi experiencia ha sido muy buena. Mi experiencia en the hostel fue bastante buena, los chicos del staff son super buena onda y lindos, siempre te van a ayudar en lo que puedan. En cuanto al trabajo: se respeta el horario, las tareas son sencillas y el hostel es muy tranquilo. Te dan una cama en el mismo hostel y es suuuper cómodo. Creo que es una experiencia ideal para pasar un tiempo tranquilo, descansar, pasear por las calles del hermoso Salento, conocer personas, escuchar música en vivo en los cafés y bares del pueblo, ver el atardecer y claro, estar en contacto con la naturaleza 🏞️

Tuve una experiencia increíble como voluntaria en el hostel. El ambiente es súper relajado, y conocí a personas maravillosas durante mi estadía. Sebastián siempre estuvo dispuesto a responder cualquier pregunta que tuviera. Mi principal función fue trabajar en la recepción, dando la bienvenida a los huéspedes y, en ocasiones, ayudando a crear un ambiente amigable y relajado en el hostal, lo cual fue fácil porque me sentí como en casa. El equipo aquí es muy amigable, y la experiencia en general fue muy positiva. Gracias por todo!a

Sebas Ademas de ser un host excepcional, también se convirtió en un amigo querido. Su amabilidad, generosidad y atención a los detalles me maravillaron desde el primer momento. El staff me dio una cálida bienvenida y su actitud acogedora crearon un ambiente hogareño. Cada gesto reflejaba el genuino deseo de asegurarse de que mi estancia fuera perfecta. el hostel no solo cumplió con mis expectativas, las superó con creces. Recomendaría al hostel a cualquiera que busque una experiencia auténtica y memorable. Gracias por todo Sebas y equipo💛✨

El hostel, fue una experiencia sumamente wow❤️! El staff es super buena onda y muy parchados, los horarios son flexibles, las tareas súper prácticas de hacer y el aburrimiento no existe en este voluntariado. Sebas y todo el equipo siempre atento a fin que la estancia sea CHIMBA! Definitivamente recomiendo que apliquen, conozcan la calidad humana tan genial del staff y del pueblito mágico que es Salento☺️!

I had an amazing time at the hostel! Sebastian is extremely welcoming and flexible. I was able to do everything I wanted to in Salento while also enjoying some chill days, which was definitely needed after traveling for a while. I will miss my time at the hostel and in Salento! I highly recommend this experience:)

I absolutely loved my experience at the hostel! Everyone welcomed me warmly and always made sure I had everything I needed. The hostel is super cozy and has a really nice atmosphere. I could also participate to activities organized by the hostel (salsa classes, local food tastings, etc) which immersed me in the local culture and allowed to get to know other travelers! Sebastian was always available to help me organize my tours and activities and always made sure I was enjoying my stay. I felt at home and wish I didn't have to leave but truly recommend this experience!!

I had an amazing experience at this hostel! The staff are so lovely and welcoming, the job is exactly as described and it is not difficult at all, and you are given plenty of flexibility! The volunteers stay in the guest dorms which are so nice and the bathrooms are some of the best hostel bathrooms I have ever seen. The town itself is beautiful and the locals are so kind. The town is small, but there are plenty of activities to do like hikes, seeing water falls and horse riding. It is a really nice spot to relax, but it is also social enough that you never feel lonely. Would recommend!

This volunteering project was where I felt the most welcomed. I enjoyed every moment of being there, especially interacting with the staff, who made me feel like part of their family. I truly appreciated the flexibility of my colleagues, who were open to accommodate my wishes to join tours and visits. Everyone was kind and caring, which made my experience really enjoyable. The tasks were clear, everything was well-structured, and the workflow was smooth. I also got to enjoy free dance classes and take part in some interesting tours, such as visiting a coffee farm and exploring Salento

My volunteering experience at the hostel was absolutely incredible and I enjoyed it so much. The whole team was extremely welcoming and they treated me like I belonged there from the day I arrived. Most of the time I was working at the reception which was a fun task to do and it also helped me to get in touch with fellow travellers. Whenever I had questions about work or other things my host Sebastian or the receptionist Camilo were always there to help and I never ran into any issues. Overall I highly recommend volunteering at the hostel and I would definitely do it again!!
