Was a really enjoyable time at the hostel, we got to meet other volunteers, use hotel facilities and were fed and accommodated accordingly. Linda the boss was also lovely and welcoming. We would say, if you are working on reception you do feel slightly thrown in the deep end at first, however it's easy to get the hang of and quite enjoyable as it is fairly relaxed. A lot of the guests are older guests or families coming on holiday. All in all a good experience for our first time.

I stayed two weeks at confetti garden resort. The hotel is really nice with a lovely swimming pool and the bedroom is good and will be cleaned whenever you ask for it. The food is also good. However the organisation of the volunteers needs improvement. I was working on reception and the communication from the host is not the best. The host can be friendly but at times is very impatient with the volunteers as well as her staff. The training for receptionist is a bit unclear and confusing and so makes it difficult to deal with customer enquiries.

I got private hotel room and 3 meals per day! Can't complain. The reception work was a little bit unorganized so could be confusing but generally pretty chill.

The accommodation was great and we got 3 meals a day. It was 5 hours of work a day, there is the morning shift, afternoon shift, or evening shift. And you could swap with other volunteers. Why was advertised was for a hostel but we ended up working in a hotel nearby. As it is low season there wasn't much to do, but I was also not shown how to do most things.

The overall experience I had volunteering at Confetti Garden Resort was good. Linda and the staff were all very welcoming and nice to work with. The accommodation was nice and the location is amazing! I worked mainly in the reception in the evenings which was nice because I had all day to go out and explore. The work is easy helping with check in and checking rooms. It can be a bit slow at times and a bit more training earlier on would have been nice but overall it was a good experience.

When it comes to amenities , I think this is a place that you can stay comfortably , however when it cames to work things were not organized, no one took the time to explain to me step by step of what I had to do or to introduce me the computer program. Her kids also work in the reception and when they don't get to an agreement they starting talking lound to each other in front of everyone ( what makes me uncomfortable sometimes) . Make sure you carry clothes that are appropriate ( no arms , shoulders or chest showing…) I also had to pay coffee if I wanted one during the day
