I highly recommend this experience for proactive individuals unafraid of cleaning tasks. At the Sanctuary of Dogs, Allyson's compassion for the guest house is inspiring. Her strength and wonderful personality are admirable. Living and sharing meals with her and other volunteers created a strong community bond. The sanctuary is located a bit far from the city center, with no nearby bus stops, which adds to its peaceful atmosphere but requires careful transportation planning. My time there was fulfilling and enriching.

Allyson is very kind-hearted and generous. She makes sure that you have everything you need, she arranged meetings with locals, we cooked food together, had an amazing day trip to Mantova. I stayed in the downstairs flat with the cats. She makes sure to give tasks that you can actually enjoy, I didn't come for the dogs, so I didn't have to work with them. I found myself angry at times when communication was missing or things didn't happen on the agreed time. All in all I recommend this place for volunteers, it was nice to stay with the animals, work was fine and I ate good vegan food.

It has been really complicated and hard dealing with your difficult behaviour ....and soo far from Worldpackers's purpose.

This experience is for animal and countryside lovers. The place is reachable just by a host's car. Allyson is nice woman, she loves to cook, and she really trying to improve herself, she have 25 dogs, 3 cats, rabbits and chicken, all live together in one big house. Host mostly need deep cleaning, mopping and organizing help of the house.

Yes, it's a place for animal lovers as it's advertised.
How to reach the place is explained on the description.
I don't live together with the chickens, rabbits .. in the house but in the property as it's a Sanctuary.
Despite the fact that you stood for 2 days and didn't do any of the tasks required. I gave you a very high review just to help you to become a better person and to learn to open your heart.
