Overall, my volunteering experience was positive. Inside the house there's a welcoming atmosphere, with a strong sense of unity and family, which made me feel included despite being far from home. Spending time together was pleasant, and barrier was challenging at first, they're very well prepared, even if quite shy. the school, in particular, was extremely kind and always willing to help us. She took great care of us by providing warm meals and traditional hot drinks. The most critical aspect concerns the facilities, especially the bathroom, which is very basic and not particularly comfortable.

Myself and my partner volunteered teaching English to children at various schools/centres over the course of a week - typically a few hours a day. It was an amazing experience, we really enjoyed teaching the local children and the school showed us how to teach step by step! the school welcomed us into her home, we stayed in a private room and were well looked after. the school made sure we had transport to and from school every day and she also cooked us delicious meals twice a day without fail! The food was really really good. The family are very kind and welcoming, couldn't ask for better hosts

I had a great experience with the school ! I was teaching in the morning and in the afternoon a few hours. the school explained to me the lessons I had to give and « how » and then she trusted me and let me do it by myself so it was nice 😇

I had a good experience volunteering here. the school is very kind and makes a real effort to ensure volunteers are well, despite her busy schedule. She takes time to prepare meals, organize transport, and offer support, which I truly appreciated. The experience was rewarding, especially for the opportunity to connect with local life and immerse myself in the community. However, there are a few areas that could use some improvement. The accommodation, while appreciated, is very basic. It's not a place for you if you're looking for comfort and privacy, however the school does her best.

The host was nice but my colleagues had a horrible experience, they lived in a TERRIBLE renovation building while I stayed in hostes home. My colleagues' bathroom broke down and they had to shower at our place, wich was upsetting to see. Felt bad teaching too, the vietnamese still hits the children and the teacher assistants always shouts at them. It was stressful, uncomfortable, inconvenient and over all a bad experience. Was not given much information beforehand either, basically said I wouldn't come if she didn't answer my questions I had asked a MONTH before. I left early, don't go here.

Overall, she was very kind, and the meals were good. However, the accommodation didn't match the photos, and the mattress was very hard (maybe she changed it after we left). The distance to the school was long—about 30 minutes—and sometimes we taught both mornings and evenings. Teaching was uncomfortable. They recorded us for marketing, which I didn't like, and the children just repeated the same words every class.
