I had an amazing experience volunteering at the lodge! Nickie and Harry are fantastic hosts, super welcoming and always making sure you're comfortable and have everything you need. The work itself was fun and fulfilling, and the other staff were great, making my time there unforgettable! the lodge is absolutely beautiful, with plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors during your free time, hiking, paddling, or kayaking on the lodge. 10/10 would recommend, I'd love to come back!🫶🏽

OyamaLake was the most beautiful experience ever, it was my first volunteer and I'm so grateful for that, Nickie and Harry are awesome, they are so sweet and friendly, I will miss Nickie singing all time. The place is perfect if you want to connect with nature and with yourself, the lodge is beautiful, and the sunsets and sunrise are amazing… I will miss the friends made there and the fire nights. Thanks for everything, I would like to return someday.

The lodge is great if you love peace and quiet and don't mind working hard. The work is simple, the hours are not much and are fixed so you get lots of time off. It is only really hard work in the busy season and if there aren't other worldpackers. Nickie and Harry were great hosts, they're lovely people. You will enjoy it there the most if you like kayaking, swimming, and paddle boarding etc, can drive, and want to be away from civilisation. If you can't drive it's hard to get around so if you're going for a long time bear that in mind. If you would like more information please message me!

Nickie, Harry (the owners) and Jamy, Kali, and Bruce (staff) were just awesome! the lodge is perfect for escaping from the city. You will have the opportunity to connect with nature in unimaginable ways. Also, ideally for reconnecting with yourself and developing your spirituality. A perfect day for me was go to work, after that take a kayak trip around the lodge, listening to my favorite my favs songs, while I was watching the sunset. My only recommendation for future volunteers is to "work hard and play hard!" Wish you luck 😃🫶🏼.
