If you are considering volunteering at this hostel, simply DO IT! the hostel is the perfect place to work surrounded by lovely people, meet travelers from all over the world and live in the city center of such a beautiful city like Cuenca! I volunteered for 6 weeks as receptionist and after that, got a job offer, directly from the owner, to work in the cafeteria the hostel located in Cajas National Park, a gem just outside of the city. At this point I have been living here for 2 months and a half and not planning on leaving anytime soon! Join our team, I promise you won't regret🥂✨

Marianna arrived in Cuenca to volunteer with us only for a few weeks and ended up being part of our team. From the very beginning she was always willing to help with all the different tasks at the hostel. Her enthusiasm and her flexibility made it possible for her to start working for us at our brand new backpackers’ meeting point. We are really enjoying her company and hoping to receive more volunteers like her who will decide to spend some longer time at Guillerminas!

Mein Aufenthalt im wunderschönen the hostel war hervorragend! Die Arbeit an der Rezeption hat viel Spaß gemacht, die Aufgaben waren abwechslungsreich und manchmal herausfordernd. Hilfreich ist es, Spanisch und Englisch zu sprechen. Die Schichten waren am Abend von 19 bis 0 Uhr, was ich sehr gut fand. Die Kollegen sind super lieb und hilfsbereit und immer offen für ein Gespräch. Außerdem waren die Schlafsäle sehr gemütlich und das Frühstück klasse! Ich empfehle die Stelle auf jeden Fall weiter! Herzlichen Dank an das gesamte Team, ich hatte eine wunderbare Zeit bei euch! :)

I had an amazing time at the hostel!! It felt like home and I was sad to leave. Vero was so incredibly helpful with showing you what you need to do and would always be available for any questions that you have. the hostel is a wonderful hostel in Cuenca and the hours and tasks are exactly what is said. I would definitely recommend to everyone to volunteer here!

I had an amazing 2 weeks at the hostel in Cuenca. The hostel staff are the sweetest and most helpful people! The lead staff helped me at all times during my shift. This is an experience I will cherish forever. The hostel is located in the beautiful city of Cuenca where there is so much to explore!

My stay at the hostel was my perfect first Worldpackers experience. The people are super nice and put a lot of effort into it. The beds and breakfast are great. The agreed working hours and tasks are adhered to. I can only recommend this work exchange! :)

The hostel is beautiful, comfortable and neat. The staff is very friendly and kind, they're always willing to help you and teach whatever you need. The host is very nice, friendly and polite. My schedule was a bit disorganized, but I had a great time at the hostel. I would definitely recommend volunteering here.
