I had an amazing time volunteering here. The tasks are intense at first but you get use to it after a couple days. I loved spending time with all the dogs and giving them love. Getting dirty and sweaty was apart of the job and I enjoyed it all. I made many great friends and would fully recommend. Only things that were hard was the constant barking sometimes and that there are a lot of sick dogs that need a lot of help. But that's what I was there for. I tried to give as much attention to the animals as I could.

I volunteered at this the shelter for dogs and cats, helping with cleaning the enclosures and feeding the animals twice a day. The work is meaningful and well explained. The people are very kind and welcoming, and I felt comfortable right away. The shelter is a bit far from the beach, which I found challenging at first, but you can easily order a PickMe, and sometimes the driver took us after the last feeding. In the end, the quiet location helped me slow down and ground after traveling. I would definitely recommend this experience, especially if you love animals and want a calm envoirment.

I stayed at the shelter for two and a half weeks, and I had the best time there. Working with the dogs was amazing, they are all so friendly and loving. The people I worked with were also incredibly nice. The work was fun and easy to do, and I would recommend this experience to anyone who loves dogs. I hope I can come back one day<3

Volunteering at the the shelter in Sri Lanka was a lively and rewarding experience. The staff and other volunteers were consistently supportive and welcoming, creating a positive environment from the start. The work with the animals was meaningful and well organized, and the overall atmosphere made the time there genuinely enjoyable. A very good experience in every aspect

My experience at this dog shelter was truly wonderful! Everyone was so kind and welcoming, and I immediately felt at home. The dogs are lovely and the tasks are not difficult but very rewarding. I had such a good time! Everyone was so welcoming and easy-going. All the work we did as volunteers was really easy and lots of fun! My bed was really comfy aswell and I had a big bathroom which was perfect! All of the dogs were super cute and being with them was a highlight of the day! This was truly a 10/10 experience and I'd definitely love to go back!!
