Daniela is very nice and works very hard. The animals are cute and well treated, I liked preparing food for them. The work is not too demanding but someday the weather is really hot and there are quite a lot of mosquitoes. Thank you Daniela for taking care so well of these animals ☺️

I had a great time at the reserve, everybody was nice, welcoming and helpful from the start and I felt home right away. The tasks are easy, preparing and distributing the meal for the animals and it was fun and instructive being a part of it. The afternoons and weekends are free so you can go to the markets or explore the beautiful nature surrounding Santa Cruz. I would absolutely recommend spending your time there!

Gracias Bruno por estos meses de trabajó en el refugió, por el cariño hacia los animales y al equipo.
Fuiste de gran ayuda y apoyo , tu experiencia en el huerto y tu sentido de la responsabilidad fueron de mucho valor para nosotros .
Esperamos que en un futuro no muy lejano puedas regresar al refugio por qué es seguro que hay un espacio para vos.

It was a good experience (my first one), everyone was nice, I had a great time. I'd 100% recommend it for anyone who loves animals. The only thing that I think could be improved regards the facilities that we had in the shelter. The rooms could've been cleaner and the shower could've worked better. Except those two things, I had a really good time !

Our experience at See the reserve was very rewarding and fun. We feel like we were able to contribute to the ongoing wellbeing of the animals by getting involved with projects to repair and enhance some enclosures. The animals are very well cared for by the team. It was a lovely week surrounded by great people and beautiful animals.

This was a great first volunteer experience. From the time we arrived we were welcomed and involved with the team. Daniela does an outstanding job of caring for the animals. With her extensive knowledge, she educates and encourages volunteers to get involved. The university students who also volunteer are amazing people also knowledgeable and dedicated. The animals at the refuge are part of the family and you really miss them when you leave. I would and have recommended this experience to others as it is very humbling and educational.

Minha experiência na reserva foi muito tranquila e me trouxe grande aprendizado. A equipe é muito profissional e trata os animais com tanto cuidado quanto amor. Gostaria que todos os animais afetados pelos humanos tivessem uma segunda chance, assim como os animais da reserva têm. Quero agradecer especialmente à Daniela e a toda a equipe por me acolherem tão bem e pelo conhecimento compartilhado. Acredito que o projeto tem um potencial enorme para crescer e continuar ajudando nossa a reserva tão preciosa da América do Sul. Além disso, é um ótimo lugar para praticar francês, espanhol e inglês.

A experiência que tive na reserva foi a melhor que poderia ter tido na vida. Se é seu primeiro voluntariado, recomendo começar por aqui. Dani é uma pessoa muito amável e tem muita paciência e flexibilidade. Comecei a gripar e me prestou toda a assistência. Ali fiz amigos que quero levar para a vida. Além de que aprendi sobre os animais, consumo consciente, preservação ambiental e sobre a cultura. Esses dias me enriqueceram muito e eu desejo muito voltar um dia. O projeto merece toda a ajuda possível!

A truly rewarding week volunteering at the animal protection center! Yes, the work is tough and conditions are basic-but that's exactly what makes the mission so vital and inspiring. Spending 5 hours each day helping care for the animals was a powerful lesson in compassion and dedication. My deepest thanks to the amazing staff. This experience was challenging in the best way possible, and I'm leaving with a full heart and immense respect for everyone who supports this wonderful cause. Plus: be prepared to the mosquitoes, which is I suffered all the time when I was there:(
