I had such a good time here. It was even better as I expected it to be. I felt really welcome here and Pinan Jim and his family shared their home with me and made me feel comfortable and home. The food we often cooked together was unbelievably good and it was so interesting to learn how to prepare food in Thai and Lana style. Learning about the culture, permaculture, building, cooking, daily life and so much more. If you want to, you can learn from Pinan Jim and his family everything you want. I'm the eco village I choose this place and even extended my stay here.

Staying at the eco village can be the experience of a lifetime. If you into it with a open mind and take the experience for what it is, you will have a great time. I was planning to stay 6 days, but ended up staying 12, leaving because of Visa issues. Learn about agriculture, building, cooking, Lanna and Thai culture, Buddhism, life and more. Pinan Jim and Pinan Tea are amazing have so much to teach, and are great hosts.

My time at the eco village was short but so sweet. Had some of the most delicious meals 3 times a day, the tasks were very enjoyable, and the overall atmosphere was very calm and relaxing! I wish I could've stayed longer but already planning to come back sometime :) I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to have some peaceful nature time.

I had an amazing week at HHH. I learned a lot about the erbs, ingredients and local foods. Their benefits, their utilities, how to prepare or cook them. The daily tasks are easy. And I used to work 3h a day monday/friday. Pinan & Pinansi have been to kind people and let me feel like at home. Thank you for everything

Really enjoyed my stay at the eco village. It was a unique chance to learn about Lanna culture, and rural life in Thailand. I especially enjoyed meal times, when we would all cook together and got to learn lots of new recipes, and how to cook based on what was in season on the farm.

I had a great week and was welcomed very kindly by Jim. I really liked this simple and rustic life. I did some weeding in the garden at my own pace and helped with the cooking. I learned a lot about myself and about Lanna culture. I also went to the nearest village school and was able to take part in the English class for 2 mornings. the English teacher is adorable and the students very the eco village with this exchange. If other volunteers want to go it's really interesting. Jim is an exciting host and very respectful of everyone.I had a great week and was welcomed very kindly by Jim. I really

My trip was for about a week in Dec 2023. like others also mentioned, you will be welcomed by a hug :). one can reach there using a taxi or public bus, its about 1.5 hrs from airport nestled in the mountains so good cold weather in the mornings and post sunset. i helped in the farm digging , sowing and see the lettuces sapling grow. one can offer help in fetching bamboo from the jungle or building. Pinan Jim and family Pinan Tea and the young boy are knowledgeable and welcoming. Watch my playlist and see the photos. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLG3L_mOkH9TGGiuJIRpfMjtas9VUKL1L7

I'm glad I went to this farm, it was a beautiful area, with a nice town to walk around in nearby. I learned a lot in my time there, and I think coming in without many expectations was helpful because I was able to stay flexible. Pinan Jim was a kind host, providing a simple but nice sleeping area, and teaching us how to cook local food over many hours. My friend and I are both vegan and were so thankful that Pinan Jim was able to accommodate this. We had many interesting conversations, and I think coming in with an open mind is definitely important.

Pinan Jim is passionate about sharing his Lanna culture with Westerners who have probably never heard of it. He is a wonderful cook and his favourite things to teach are Lanna food, herbal medicines and how to play guitar Lanna style! If you are lucky and ask nicely you might even get a cup of coffee in the mornings 😉 I loved my bamboo hut and it was so nice to forage leaves and berries in the garden and then use them for cooking. There is a river to swim in if you don't want to shower with a bucket and even a big beautiful lake only 5 minutes walk away.
