Hands-On Kitchen Help & Farm Support in Our Farm

The farm has been one of my favorite volunteer exchanges I have done. The whole family is amazing and Valentina is very personable and lovely. They always make sure you have everything you need and are taken care of. I would 100% recommend this opportunity to anyone. Not only is the family amazing but the food is to die for. Being up in the mountains is also something new for me coming from a beach town, but it is very nice with wonderful views.

Valentina, Ale, their family and crewmembers are super nice and caring. They are always trying to make you feel comfortable. The work is real ease, and hours go by, without even noticing. You'll learn to cook news dishes too! What I most enjoyed and will always remember were the nights when we used to finish the service late, and stay on the restaurant having dinner, tasting great wine and chatting.

Valen, Ale and his family were always kind to us, making us feel at home. The place where the farm is located is very quiet. We were helping in the kitchen, we worked in the morning and on weekends we did restaurant service. However, we work more hours than agreed in the application, which can be an inconvenience. Also thank you very much for the experience.

I went with María and Miriam and I write on behalf of the three of them. The stay was very good along with the rest of the other volunteers, but the photos that appear on the website are of the restaurant apartments instead of the house where the volunteers are staying. Valentina and Alessandro made us feel part of their family. As for the work, it was hard since there are many hours working in the kitchen (sometimes more than those promised in Worldpackers) but at the same time rewarding, since you learn many things and you feel satisfaction when you have good results and the hosts congrats u

I thought the work load was unfair. Spent more time out side then others, I think a mix is definitely needed regardless of your gender. The hours were also extended more than agreed. A the location is far out from most places. I respect both of the host for giving me the experience tho Thank you

The restaurant only serves food on Saturday and Sunday so you prepare the food to be served and cooked for those days. Important to say that on the weekend you may be requested to work way more hours than what is advertised. The host lacked some patience regarding the time i finished my tasks and misunderstood my mannerisms as unmotivation and later proceed to advice me to apply to another volunteer since i was not a fit for the kitchen, which backfired on my plans. If you have a pasion for cooking and like a fast paced enviroment in a remote setting this is the right volunteer job for you.

This was my second volunteering and the place it was beautiful with montains everywhere. the farm needs a lot of help in the kitchen mainly in the weekends… It's nice because you can learn about Italian culinary and experience a restaurant routine. My only difficulty was being a little far from the nearest city (15min by car but 2hours walking), you can get there by bus but the stop is a 15-minute walk from the accommodation and on the way back the climb is a little tiring. Anyway, I'm grateful for the opportunity and for all the people I met. Grazie, Valentina e Ale, per tutto!
