Esta fue la mejor experiencia de mi vida, tenia mucho miedo de hacer un voluntariado pero esta experiencia cambio mi forma de ver la vida conoci persona maravillosas, los ddueños del hoostal son demasiado amigables, nobles y buenas personas siempre estan dispuestos a ayudarte y ofrecerte una exxperiencia inolvidable, pero sin duda alguna conoci un paraiso y quiero volver pdt: Erjon es mi favorito <3

My stay at this hostel in Shkoder was a truly special experience. From day one, I felt welcomed like family. The project of creating murals inspired by traditional Albanian ornaments and carpet patterns was deeply meaningful for me as an artist. We worked together to bring local culture, history, and handmade symbols onto the walls, creating a bridge between tradition and contemporary art.The space is full of soul, creativity, and respect for local heritage. The team was open, supportive, and trusted my artistic vision, which made the collaboration smooth and inspiring. Tanks for all Team!!!

I truly want to thank you for the opportunity to be part of Skodra Hostel. This experience was very special for me. I learned a lot and felt so welcomed from the very first day. The tasks were always fair and well organized, and the energy of the team together with the kindness of the owners made all the difference. I'm really grateful for every moment I lived there. 🙏

I am very grateful for the experience, I learned a lot during my stay. I met wonderful people and had a great time in the city. I took care of the kitten since the day she arrived, so I will miss her dearly. There is so much to explore around Shkodër, you will for sure have fun.

I spent almost 3 incredible months there . A couple of things I would like to say about Erjon, one of the owners, sometimes he can be difficult and can get aggressive if something is not done like he ask, also puts the guest over the volunteer. if I'm working 36hs weekly I would like to receive a little bit of back support. My last night there he asked if I could sleep in the sofa or in a tent cuz the hostel overbooked. I think u have to attempt on that way. The rest of the team and staff was very supportive. This hostel is a great place and would be perfect for volunteers looking for a slower and quieter exchange rather than more social one. At the time I was there, there were 3 other volunteers but they did not interact with the guests which was unexpected and I felt isolated from them when I would be socialising with guests and they would be doing their own thing. The hosts are wonderful and very kind, but are extremely busy running day trips. However the hostel is safe and comfortable and the work is easy just my experience of the volunteers at the time was unlike any I have encountered before.
