Amazing!! It was my first time doing voluntary work and the experience at the hostel was great. Everybody was so welcoming so it felt like home very soon. I made a lot of new friends, who I definitely will miss …as well as the beautiful view over the sea in the morning with a cup of tea. It is such a lovely place to meet locals, enjoy nature and just experience the energy of the island. It maybe seem small, but it has so much to give! The work was completely fair for everything I got in exchange. I would absolutely choose to go there again. Thanks for everything Helene & Dave!!

My experience in Kilronan was 100% unexpected! I didn't know that was something like this that I needed in this period of life backpacking. The calm and nature of the island are amazing and notable, the work hours are really okay! We still had the afternoon free everything even when we worked a lot. The installation for the volunteers is really cozy and the money that we received for the meals worked well. Would definitely recommend this for those who want a different and peaceful experience, thanks a lot for having me Kilronan's family, I'll always remember 🤍

My experience at the hostel was incredible! The housekeeping work is relaxed and enjoyable. Some of the busier days are challenging, but generally the work can be completed in 3 hours, which leaves you with plenty of time to explore the island during your free time! Dave and Helene are great to work with. Both, along with the locals, made me feel welcomed and part of the community. This made my time in Inis Mor truly unforgettable! This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to spend time in a beautiful and unique part of Ireland and gain a more local and cultural experience.

I enjoyed the experience, there are really lovely people at the island, i made friends, locals and travelers too, nice team, the hosts give to the volunteers free food, always a good attitude and clear instructions, Thankks Heleen and David for being so nice always, made my dayy!! Beautiful places to visit, you have free bikes and kayaks, plenty of time because the work is easy in the mornings. Totally recommend it! 🥰

We had a good time at the hostel! It was not a very busy time of year so we spent most of our time exploring the island either via the bikes provided or walking around. We even took out the kayak one day! The island is pretty small so we were able to see most of it and we met a lot of locals. The hours varied by day- 3hours is the standard but sometimes we finished in 1 or 2 and other days it took us a little longer than 3. Overall a good experience, we loved working with Helene :)
