The position is unpaid but you'll get free accommodation in a dorm. No food included.

Sunday 8:30-17:30 (1h lunch break) reception, housekeeping

You will be part of a small team doing usual hostel duties, such as reception, helping guests, housekeeping and cleaning.

Actividades & Turnos

To us, it is of great importance that you have time to enjoy Stockholm and Sweden therefore, we will not ask you to work more than 17 hours per week.


The position includes cleaning, housekeeping, and reception work. Schedule looks something like this (days and time may vary):

Monday: 11:00-14:00 cleaning

Tuesday: 11:00-14:00 cleaning

Wednesday: 11:00-14:00 cleaning

Sunday 9:00-17:00 (1h lunch break), reception, housekeeping

For these 17 hours per week you get free accommodation in one of our dorms, which means you sleep in a room with a few other guests. You will also have locked closets to store your clothes and private stuff. The kitchen is communal but you have your own fridge so you don’t share food storage with guests. The hostel is a quiet and homely accommodation. Guests from all over the world visit the place and the atmosphere is friendly and peaceful.

We appreciate the fact that the staff (employed and volunteers) live at the hostel. This makes the atmosphere more familiar and friendly, which the guests really appreciate. It is also safe for both staff and guests!

We provide bed linen and towels, and free laundry.

The hostel is located in the heart of Stockholm.
The closest airport is Arlanda.
The Central Station for trains and buses is only 12 minutes walk away from the hostel.
