La experiencia en La Gaditana estuvo bien. Es un pueblo tranquilo, a una hora de Malaga en bus. Las tareas fueron explicadas, eran sencillas y se respetaron las horas de trabajo. Tenes bastante tiempo libre para recorrer la zona. El trato del equipo fue respetuoso y amable. Pude conectar con otrxs voluntarixs. Sin embargo, el ambiente del hostel no es del todo agradable (sobre todo para una mujer viajera). Hubieron situaciones de conflicto y tensión con los huéspedes. Tatiana y el equipo las resolvian sin lo problema, pero no me sentí del todo cómoda y tranquila.

Tatiana es una gran persona, encantadora, pero el hostel es chico incomodo con un solo baño y es imposible dormir. El trabajo requerido no es propio de una experiencia de voluntariado.

Muy buena experiencia! conocí otros viajeros, nos divertimos muchísimos. las tareas estuvieron bien, y nos quedaba mucho tiempo libre... Tatiana es muy buena onda. te hace sentir cómoda y bienvenida, no es exigente para nada. y el hostel queda cerca del centro. Lo súper recomiendo !

My experience in the hostel was Amazing! I felt like home 🤗 the location is simply lovely! A nice village by the mountain and really close to the sea. Tatiana Is very reliable, easygoing and smart person! She puts all her heart in her hostel and gives her best for the people in it

Tatiana was so sweet and very welcoming 😃 Also very flexible with scheduling, and in general a nice and rural place. The city was quieter that I expected, but it was easy to go to neighbouring cities and enjoy the beaches

I would not really recommend this experience. Tatiana is nice and always there to explain your work but in my case so many thing didn't go as planned. The wifi didn't work in 4 days. The day before I was coming she asked me to help few days with cleaning (and not construction as provided in the project) because another volunteer canceled at the last, I said yes but then she planned my all time there fore cleaning The first days I had to sleep with clients in a 8 people room because the volunteers one was busy The toilet doesn't have key and it's broken There are better project with same work

La Gaditana the hostel is a great place to volunteer. I felt well taken cared of during my entire stay. Tatiana the host it's super kind and flexible with the task and schedules. Plus the staff and the other volunteers were also very kind. The work was not too difficult, easy to follow and often times very fun. Malaga itself is very nice and the hostel is located 50 - 40 min to the city center so you can visit a lot of places. (There buses close to the hostel). All in all i had a great month staying at the hostel. If you get the chance to stay here do it. You wont regret it.
