It was a nice place. Safe area you can move easily in the city (tram, metro, train station...). The team is nice if you need something you can ask them they do their best to help you. The schedule is respected. I will recommend this place if you want to discover Germany for a month.

It was a good first experience in the hostel. The hostel is not located in the city center but you can go there on foot or by tram which is right in front of the hostel. In terms of missions, you can do cleaning, hold the bar, help with breakfast or check the rooms. The schedules are respected and all volunteers are housed in a dormitory with bathroom. We are entitled to breakfast at 11am. You can cook in the kitchen. It is an experience that I could recommend.

This was my first experience with Worldpackers and I had a really great experience! The dorm was comfortable and clean and the host was always friendly and welcoming. I worked the bar shift which was fine, most nights it was very quiet, but the tasks were easy and if there was nothing else to do you could go on your phone or do other things. I didn't really get many opportunities to practise German as most of the guests spoke English, but being in the hostel was a great base to explore Germany. The food and the people were nice and I would definitely recommend the experience :):)

I had an incredible two-week volunteer experience at the hostel in the hostel through Worldpackers. From day one, I was warmly welcomed into the team and felt like a valued member of the family. The tasks I took were varied and engaging, including working at the reception, assisting at the bar, helping with maintenance, and preparing breakfast. This variety ensured that no two days were the same, and I enjoyed every minute of it. The work was balanced, allowing me plenty of time to explore the vibrant city of the hostel and immerse myself in its rich culture. Thank you Alina & Team

O melhor do voluntariado são as pessoas que conhecemos. Preciso agradecer a cada uma delas: Nadine, um amor de pessoa; Fahla, que foi a 1a que conheci; Farrukh, sempre muito atencioso e trabalhador; Nickz, uma companhia divertida; Keyur, muito gente boa e comprometido; e Aline e Gabriela, que foram sempre gentis comigo, mesmo sem contato diário. O trabalho se divide em 2 turnos: bar e café da manhã. No bar, o ambiente é mais descontraído, com interação e prática de inglês. O café da manhã começa às 7h e vai até meio-dia, com um ritmo mais intenso, mas ainda sobra tempo para aproveitar o dia.

Foi minha primeira experiência em um hostel grande tão grande quanto esse, mais parece um hotel. Os voluntários e a equipe eram legais e as acomodações bem boas. O café da manhã é excelente! Muita variedade e a comida é ótima. Tem um mercado perto, o que facilitou muito. O trabalho em si não é difícil e as horas são muito bem respeitadas. A cidade em si não tem muita coisa porém o centro histórico é lindo e ver o por do sol na beira do rio é de tirar o fôlego. Um ótimo lugar para ficar poucas semanas.

It was my first experience with Worldpackers, and it was awesome! I got to practice my English (and a bit of German too), met a lot of amazing people, and had plenty of time to travel and visit other cities. The staff was super nice and helpful. Aline was flexible with my schedule and really supportive when I needed it. The tasks were chill: bar or breakfast shifts. I had an amazing experience in the hostel and can't wait to go back!

I only stayed for two weeks and the experience was overall very positive. Although there was not always time to follow you step by step through activities, the tasks were easy to carry out (bar service, breakfast), staff members were super nice and patient and available for support when needed.

I spent two weeks at the hostel, and overall, it was great. I had two types of shifts: breakfast and bar. Everything was perfectly explained to me, and the staff was very friendly and always willing to help if I needed it. You'll have plenty of time to explore the hostel and nearby cities. I will always remember the people I had the opportunity to work with, get to know a little, and the friends I made. I wish I could have stayed longer. Thank you, Aline, for the opportunity! :-)

This was my first volunteering experience and it was incredible! All the people who works at the hostel are really nice and I enjoyed working with them. Work hours are good and the work itself it's easy. Aline is super nice and can work the schedule out with you. The room is comfortable and the city is really nice! Getting to know other volunteers was incredible and we had a great time. :)
