La experiencia

Hi, I'm Julian from England, living in Sweden. Now building a number of Tiny Houses in the Beautiful Swedish forest surrounded by lakes, trees and wildlife. We've had many volunteers with all kinds of backgrounds and had great times: People confident in using power tools, and design/ making things /construction most welcome. In return for help with building, you will have the chance to learn loads of new skills, good laughs and enjoy the forest.

Actividades & Turnos

Up early and a quick breakfast followed by cracking on with sometimes hard but usually interesting work. Sandwiches/light lunch followed by more work. We usually stop around 3 or 4pm. This far north, we have 24 hour light at midsummer, so evenings are very long and there is plenty of time to enjoy swimming in the lakes, fishing, hikes, tracking etc. after the day's work.

Reglas

We've had soooo many different people here over the years and experience tells me that the people we want are those who enjoy efficiency and work - simply because that's the best way to learn for themselves: As each task is completed we move onto something new, so by cracking on you get the chance to learn and experience more things you want/need to know. We don't stress, we work steadily on as a team, have a laugh, think about new ideas and implementation and discuss ideas. We're here for people who grab chances in life and want to get on and make sound new friends.

So please, no drug abusers. We drink and have fun in the evenings. We're flexible with spaces and meals and can often cater for vegetarians. We generally cook together but that too is flexible. Most often you will have a Tiny House to yourself to stay in, (sometimes shared) sometimes a place in the guesthouse.
