My experience with Rollin Keeper was great! From the very first day, I was warm welcomed as part of the team. The hostel is super welcoming and has a cool vibe, the tasks were easy, always respecting what was agreed before. I learned a lot during my stay about local culture, salsa and spanish. I had the opportunity to meet amazing people and explore the city during my free time. I highly recommend this experience to travelers looking for great connections, learning and cultural exchange. I really enjoyed my time volunteering at the hostel. Julio, Agustin, Rubi, the team of volunteers and guests were so welcoming and friendly making the hostel feel like a home. The work is very chilled so you have time to explore and experience what Cali has to offer. I would also definitely recommend this experience for anyone wanting to practice their Spanish and salsa dancing :)

After months of intense traveling, from the very first second when arriving at Rollingkeepers hostel, I felt like I finally was back home. Every morning, I enjoyed a delicious breakfast, and thanks to the hostel's salsa classes, now I can dance it! All the energy there is really magic, warm and special, full of love and kindness. I never felt like a volunteer but another member of a Colombian family. Julio really cares about volunteers, leading city-food-taste tours and inviting us to be part of local activities. I must also thank Agustín, Rubi, and my other sister volunteers ❤️✨🥹

This is what I travel for, to have experiences like the one I did at Rolling Keepers. It didn't take me long to settle in, and this place quickly grew to feel like a home away from home. To begin, Julio and Agustin are incredible hosts. Julio wants for everyone to be comfortable as well as experience all that Cali has to offer. I saw a lot of Cali & learned a lot from him. I believe that this place attracts very lovely people, including the other volunteers, guests who are coming and going, as well as locals. I practiced my Spanish, danced a lot, and had beautiful connections. Thank you<3

I enjoyed my time here! The hostel has a lovely family environment and welcoming communal spaces. The hostel manager, Julio, also knows a lot about the city and really values that volunteers explore it! Its a smaller hostel and I appreciated a schedule with 2 days off together. Definitely recommend if you are seeking a comfortable place, good location, and want time to explore a really cool city!

I had a mixed experience, when I arrived I really felt welcome by the hosts. The hostel creates a friendly environment and the salsa classes are super fun. This has changed due to the manager leaving the hostel for one week only for volunteers. When he came back, he didn't feel satisfied with the conditions of the hostel, he communicated this in an agressive manner and threatened to send us volunteers all away. This situation is very particular, since he doesn't leave the hostel often, but after that I kind of felt black-listed every time we communicated, so i decided to leave earlier.

I absolutely loved every minute with Augustin and Julio. They are both super chill , friendly and welcoming. On top of that I also had a great team of volunteers, that made everyday special. Out of all the volunteers I met during this volunteering - EVERYONE extended and stayed alsmost two months. I would have done the same if I didnt have to go home. The vibe of this hostel is very chill and personal. It's not a huge, superficial party-hostel. It feels more like a shared home. Thank You Augustin and Julio for everything!

The hostel is an amazing place to be. The laid back respectful vibe is both peaceful and safe. The hosts go above and beyond to engage with staff and guests. Their generosity and kindness is spread to all. They go above and beyond constantly to make sure you're able to enjoy the best experice possible in Cali. It's also refreshing to see the passion they have to continiously improve their facilities and ensure everyone is getting the most from what they and the city can offer. Top notch hosts. I was a privilege to be part of their team.
