One of the best volunteering experience I ever had! This is also my first time volunteering though Worldpackers, and I couldn't recommend it more! The host is welcoming and easy to work with. The kids are so sweet and the staff are amazing. We had flexible days off every week, so I got to explore Budapest and the nearby towns on my days off. You really get the chance to gain a deeper understanding of the Hungarian culture by working at this camp, talking and interacting with Hungarian kids.

Incredible experience! The children are genuinely endearing and the work environment is great. When you're not helping out, you still have plenty of time to discover the region and country. The host family (and Bonzo) is absolutely incredible and always makes sure that everything is okay! They were very invested in making us discover the region, the culture and the food. I will never forget Orfű !

Overall, this was a wonderful experience. Eszter and her family made us feel super welcome, and her passion for teaching and helping kids at Általános Iskola is remarkable. Getting to know the kids at the aftercare and playing with them with other volunteers was an enriching experience in which we immersed ourselves in the local culture. The only thing to keep in mind is that Orfü is quite isolated, and you may have a bit too much free time. But, all in all, we'll recommend other world-packers apply, especially if you're looking for a relaxed volunteer option.

AMAZING life changing experience. WORK: the kids are absolutely amazing, we had a lot of freedom to plan and execute the activities to teach them english through playing. We usually worked for 4h or less a day ORFU: lovely small village surrounded by beautiful lakes and hikes. an easy bus ride away from Pecs. FACILITIES: small flat for the volunteers with 2 bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom. very private and cosy. HOSTS: They're absolutely the best! Eszter will make sure you're having a good experience with the kids, and Csaba the same regarding the town/hungarian culture. I miss bonzo 🐶!
