The hostel es un Lugar tranquilo, donde puedes conectarte con tu yo Espiritual. Son muy atentos y te ayudan si tienes alguna duda. Aprendes de los demás todos los días, y siempre te sugieren actividades distintas. Sus horarios son muy flexibles, puedes tener libertad y organizar días para ti sin preocupaciones. Sus instalaciones son nuevas, por lo tanto es lugar limpio y cómodo.

Wooooow! Me llevo en mi corazón Bacalar gracias a la bonita experiencia y trato que pude haber recibido en el hostel gracias a los anfitriones; Cristian, Yami y Sil; todo el equipo del staff está siempre en todo momento apoyándote, los horarios son accesibles y además tienes el paraíso y buena vibra todo incluido en este voluntariado; ame formar parte de la recepción, de verdad no se olviden de mi por qué les juro que regresare chicos!! Con todo mi cariño para Casita el hostel ✨🪶

Mi experiencia en el Hostel fue muy buena, Christian y Sil son excelentes anfitriones, muy amables y cálidos, respetan completamente los horarios y lo acordado desde el principio. Estar en recepción es muy sencillo y como solamente son 3 días a la semana los turnos, te da mucho tiempo para conocer Bacalar y lugares cercanos. Todo el equipo de trabajo tambien es muy amable, me voy contento de este voluntariado, lo recomiendo al 100%

Work hours were exactly as described. The reception work is very relaxed since it was low season. Shared dorm was very comfortable as well. Silvana, who was in charge helped us volunteers with anything we needed and communicated very well.

The hostel was my first experience as a volunteer, and it was a great experience, I loved being part of the team because it was a good environment, and I learned a lot. I also met wonderful people who made the experience even better between created a lot of cool memories together. Thanks to the staff at the hostel for giving me the opportunity to collaborate with you.

We had a great experience. Silvana is a super warm, lovely woman who makes you feel welcome. She also pays a lot of attention to your wishes when organising the workplan. That's great. The work is simple and fun and you have 4 days off to explore Bacalar. You really get to socialise with the guests. Unfortunately, there was mould in the dormitory and our clothes started to get mouldy too... You can also have (bad) luck with the other volunteers if they don't show consideration for others, as you end up sharing the room and the bathroom. All in all a really good stay. I recommend it :)

I chose this place because you can also stay for two weeks only and mostly because of the four free days , which is a really sweet deal and quite rare. Tasks are ok too, you have reception duty which is ok and you may even free time during working hours while you sit at the front desk. What was really annoying for me was the sleeping condition. The hostel has a strong humidity problem and the volunteers' room is dirty and unhealthy with moldy cushions and walls, and all my stuff got moldy and wet. I befriended the cockroach in the bathroom. I almost couldn't sleep with my wet sheets.

I had a great stay at the hostel! The place is quite clean only the volunteer room has mold on one spot. Silvana is doing a great job organizing the volunteers and listens to every request you might have. To work itself is also quite relaxing they dont expect much of you

La mia esperienza allo the hostel è stata la mia prima esperienza di volontariato in ostello e non poteva andare meglio! Il lavoro è davvero fattibile e tranquillo. Io ho scelto i turni notturni (23-7) e tecnicamente c'è veramente poco da fare: di rado un late check-in o un early check-out e una veloce pulizia dei tavoli e stoviglie della zona comune. C'è una piscina utilizzabile e l'ambiente è tranquillo e rilassato. Ciò che ha reso l'esperienza meravigliosa sono stati i volontari che hanno condiviso l'esperienza con me, condividendo le giornate al di fuori delle giornate lavorative :)
