The hostel is the place to be, is not similar to any experience you had before. I absolutely recommend to everybody. Staff, volunteers and guests are amazing and in a short time they become your family.

It was an amazing experience to be part of this family, where you can meet many amazing people from all over the world and make good friends. If you like to party a lot, drink a lot and sleep little then this is the place for you, but if you are not used to this lifestyle maybe you should think before volunteering. Anyway you can participate and da lot of pub crawls which are one of the best parts and talk to a lot of drunk people.

The welcome was not as I expected, the managers and some volunteers were not friendly and did not help me with English. The room was very messy and looked like it was from WWII. As far as fun is concerned, I spent it unforgettable moments.

As a first experience, this has been amazing. The place is held together by the people that volunteer and feel everybody welcomed. It's easy to interact with the guests and connect in a fun way, especially during daily activities and pubcrawls. It's been a life changing experience for me,something I would recommend to everyone.Had a fucking good time!

I was at Urban the hostel, my first experience was different, I felt welcomed by the volunteers but not from the manager, he never told me what to do, basically another volunteer explained the basics, none explained the tasks and I had to ask all the time, after few days the manager started to complain about my work, and I know I did a good job and I told him I'll do better and I did but he again complained and this time was like you are leaving in 2 days, I was shocked, he searched for a reason to kick me out, it became uncomfortable and I left immediately, he is toxic and arrogant.

I really like the people I met there, it was a very SOCIAL place and comfortable if you find someone to spend time with, to be honest I think the work was a bit exhausting, we had to clean 3 floors of rooms and bathrooms, sometimes we were 2 or max 4, I think we could have more people and finish everything faster and better, also we had to assist to a meeting every day it doesn't matter you have a free day, it just from 30-50 mins but in there they ask you for doing even more chores, that's just my negative point, I really loved the place, the people, the help from other volunteers and manage

If you are into the party hard mood, and meet a lot of amazing and crazy people, for sure, this is your place, but keep in mind that here is literal the quote of play hard, working harder, Thats basically a 24 hr kind of job. After you shifts, (cleaning, reception) the manager teams "hope" mostly demand, that you also join to the daily activities, make extra general duties, partying and super socialice whit the guesses, so don't expect to just cover your 25 hrs and be free.

Amazing first experience at urban the hostel. You really feel like its one big hostel. Got to meet wonderful people and interact a lot with guests. There's always something to do and you never feel bored.

The hostel it's the craziest hostel I've been, everyday something different and fun happens, there's party all the time, you always make new friends, get to know people, all the volunteers and staff are truly amazing. Thjis the manager is a really cool dude. However, you work more than the 25 hours they announce, there's extra tasks (food shopping, staff dorm cleaning, mandatory meetings everyday) that are not contemplated in the 25 hours work week, besides that is a life-changing experience that I recommend 100%
