Assertive communication, pleasure on teaching and many incredible memories besides hours of work :) I couldn't be happier after this time in Milos, small island with big spot in my heart. I really couldn't wish for a better place to spend my days in Greece than Milos and these amazing people. From the first moment I arrived I felt really welcomed. Vasilis and Melissa were really kind and easygoing and I am glad I was able to practice my spanish with them and other volunteer. Working hours were as agreed and it was really nothing too difficult. Island itself is wonderful and place we're staying was well connected with other beaches. I won't forget game night they organised during Euro basket cup when my team was playing. I am really thankful for this :)

I had such an amazing time in Milos, it is such a beautiful island and Vasilis and Melissa were so kind to me I am so glad we had the pleasure of meeting each other:) I got to explore the entire island and it was nice meeting other volunteers as well. The tasks are not difficult and I enjoyed that every day was something different. They are fair with the hours and I had plenty of time to enjoy Milos. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience and for the amazing hospitality, I already miss Milos so much and could not have asked for a better experience!

My experience at the guest house was really positive. Working hours was as agreed,. For a better experience for applicants, it's good that you have a can do attitude and be proactive. As some days can be fast paced and, it's beneficial to you know what to do. I'm so grateful for the welcoming energy they shared with me. And, extra love from Vasilis parents who I spent time chatting and who showed so much kindness, even we not speaking the same language. Melissa and Vaisilis are very open and positive. Thank you for showing me beautiful places and for being so welcoming with me!! ❤️

The past 4 weeks has been a truly amazing experience. Vasileios and Melissa are fantastic, very welcoming, easy going and with a great sense of humour. I had the pleasure of getting to know Vasileios and his family during this time and this was very special, particularly over the Easter weekend where I was able to share the island's traditions with them! The volunteering tasks are varied and provided a good balance of challenges which has allowed me to learn different exercises between the holiday homes and boats maintenance. Thank you Vasileios and Melissa! 🫶🏽

It was soo nice :) I came in the beginning of the season so the work was very easygoing, not stressfull at all. I mostly did ironing, cleaning and preparing the guest house for the guests in Firopotamos and the view is truly breathtaking. I loved my time here ♥, Milos offers so many beautiful places to visit and activities to do, I really enjoyed a boat trip that Vasilis and Melissa took us on, but for swimming it was still a bit cold :D I even end up doing a scuba diving licence here and the cats everywhere are pure love. I definitely recommend and I'm very grateful for this experience ♥.

This was a great experience and I had the chance to explore the scenic island of Milos. I was able to explore the entire island around the work schedule because the work schedule was either working in the morning or the afternoon. Vasili and Melissa were great host, communicative, accommodating, friendly to work with, and ensured the work was carried out respectfully. It was a good time overall to be able to work with the scenic view of Firopotamos. It was a truly great experience to have.

I had a great time during my 2 weeks in Milos. The island is absolutely beautiful with many surroundings to explore. The view while working is stunning as well. Vasilis and Melissa are lovely people and I'm so glad I could help in anyway. I will miss them and the island in hopes to be back someday. Thank you for everything!! <3

I spent 25 days here and I miss it so much! This was my first Worldpackers experience and it could not have been better. Vasilis and Melissa were so nice, welcoming, and flexible. I worked 6 days a week for 4 hours each day, exactly what was agreed upon. I would help in the rental properties or iron. Since I came in the slow season I also did other things. The work was not hard at all, it was never stressful. I would do this Worldpackers again in a heartbeat. You will love the cats, the beach, the coffee, the small town, and so much more. I recommend it!

In the short two weeks that I was in Milos I felt at home. The work might take a little bit to get the hang of but it is fair and simple. Get to know Milos, Vasilis, Mely and all the cats. Vasilis and Mely are so generous, kind, and funny. They helped us explore the island and get comfortable in a new place. Milos is one of the coolest places with lots of adventures and places to discover. I hope to come back one day. I would recommend this opportunity and message me with any questions!
