La experiencia en el instituto fue maravillosa. Era la primera vez que hacía voluntariado como tutora de la escuela y me sentí muy feliz con cada encuentro: cada estudiante era un universo distinto. Aprendí muchísimo sobre la cultura y también traté de compartir un poco de la brasileña. Los pequeños malentendidos o dificultades que aparecieron siempre se resolvieron con comunicación y buena disposición. Estoy muy agradecida de haber conocido el South American Language Center!

The experience at English the school was really pleasant. The accommodation is one of the best I had so far during my travel. It has everything you need in the kitchen and the room was really comfortable. The work at the school is very relaxed and fun and the colleagues are really lovely. The location of the accommodation is near a lot of markets restaurants and a big mall. Furthermore there is a lot of stuff that you can explore in the school.

I want to sincerely thank the school for accepting me as a volunteer. I truly enjoyed teaching English and connecting with the students. They were kind, motivated, and made the experience incredibly rewarding. I loved sharing my knowledge and building friendships with many of them. The stay was very comfortable with a private room, kitchen access, and fast internet. The surrounding environment was beautiful, with amazing mountain views. I felt welcomed and comfortable throughout my time here. I highly recommend this volunteering experience to anyone interested in teaching English.

Excellent volunteer. We loved working with Prem; he is a very kind and friendly person. He will definitely help you with anything you ask. He is very sociable and interesting, makes friends immediately, is very willing and punctual. We definitely recommend working with him.

I had a great experience overall with the school in the school. I had the opportunity to spend a few hours each day helping local Ecuadorians improve their English speaking skills. There was a huge variety of students of different ages and backgrounds making it an insightful and eye opening experience learning more about them. The staff were also very welcoming and friendly and always on hand to help out with anything we needed. Thanks a lot to Carla, Fernanda and the rest of the team! I will definitely try and return at some point in the future.

I was only at the school for 2 weeks, bur really enjoyed my time there. It was a great experience, I got to know some of the students and the teachers, everyone was super friendly. They are also very flexible, if your plans change (if you give plenty of notice.) I also got the chance to go do an activity with some of the students which involved going to the gym, which was super fun! Overall great experience

My experience at the school was short but exceptional. I enjoyed chatting with the students, most of them may be very shy but you just need to go for it, they are very enthusiastic to share a conversation. The place to stay is just few minutes from the school

My time here was amazing, I met many other volunteers who were super open and friendly. Whom I also went on weekend trips with. When a problem occurred, the whole team took me serious and was eager to help me. I also got included in some extra activities at work, where we would go into a coffee shop and discussed a part of a book, which was super fun. The work overall is super easy and allows you to get into touch with locals as well. My work hours were pretty flexible as well. Overall my time there was amazing and I would love to come back again :))

I had an amazing experience volunteering as an English teacher! The project was very well organized, and the team made me feel welcome from day one. The students were full of energy and curiosity, and it was incredibly rewarding to see their progress. I also had the chance to connect with other volunteers and learn more about the local culture. I had a great first volunteering experience at the school! I enjoyed every day of it - the teachers and Administration staff welcomed me into their community and I had a comfortable accomodation. Ecuador is a country with a lot of aspects to discover- and the school is located in the center of it! I am going to miss it and can absolutely recommend it!!
