A really peaceful and comfortable place to work in. Host Janet is an excellent human being, she's very kind and makes sure you feel like you were at home. Apart from accommodation services, place offers cultural activities , like plays and rehearsals . In the heart of San Cristobal de las Casas, the host Hostel is a must to visit!

While volunteering at the host, I met Janet and her sister Jacqueline, plus a lovely dog named Barraca. The location and mission of the studio is an excellent way to immerse yourself in the cultural capital of San Cristobal. The amenities, duties, and scheduling were all very accommodating and contributed to my great experience as a volunteer.

The experience was ok. The place is very beautiful. The host Ana was an amazing and wise woman, always giving us advice and making good company away from home. The only bad thing is about the place where volunteer need to sleep as it is uncomfortable. I will suggest to make volunteers involve in the lessons a little more so they can have more space in the tasks.
