Casa Noda (the sister Hostel of the guest house) was a really great experience. The staff is almost completely japanese and really kind and helpful. The hostel is lovely and offers a nice chill lobby. The location is also really convenient.

I really enjoyed my time at Casa Noda. The staff are really friendly and helpful, and the workload is fair. In the afternoon, you can explore Nagasaki and the guesthouse is central which is convenient for visiting places. The female dorm is very comfortable, the best I have stayed in yet. The common area is nice and there are often lots of people to talk to there.

I really enjoyed my time in Nagasaki. The city is very relaxed but still offers lots to explore and the guest house was a perfect starting point with its' central location and comfortable loungespace to recharge. The work in the guesthouse was definitely managable. The workhours were also convenient to do fun thing in the afternoon. Guests and staff alike were always very friendly and open to chat, which was also a good practice for my japanese.

Paula is a very serious and diligent person.She actively communicated in Japanese, which made it easier for us to assign her tasks, and we are confident that we were able to maintain a higher level of cleaning at the guesthouse.
I think living in an unfamiliar place can be challenging at times, but we are very happy to know that she had a positive experience during her stay in Nagasaki.
It may her future be wonderful !

That was my 2nd experience and I was really happy was joined with this beautiful guesthouse. They are so kind and nice people that why I was feel like a family member of the guest house. So I highly recommend to this beautiful guesthouse with volunteering.

Staying in Nagasaki was a great experience for me! the guest house has a quiet & chill vibe so it's if you have any projects you want to focus on. The staff were kind to me and remembered details from our conversations and welcomed me with peaches because I mentioned I liked them! You can also practice your Japanese with the day staff you will be working with. The night view in Nagasaki is amazing and there are many different spots good for viewing!

It was really fun to meet so many people from different places but mostly Japanese tourists stay at the hostel. It's sad that most didn't stay for too long. The work was quite structured so everyday was smooth sailing.

I had a wonderful time at Casa Noda! It was close to the harbour, the room was beautiful and had an amazing view. The hours are respected and the work is fair. The staff members and other volunteer were all very kind and friendly! There is lots to do in and around Nagasaki, I loved the time there and just wish it was longer.

Amazing experience! Nagasaki is a relatively smaller city, perfect for a chill experience. Still, plenty to do and Casa Noda/the guest house is a perfect place to do so! Hours of work are very respected and the work is not hard. The owner and remaining staff are all super nice and accommodating. Would recommend to everyone.

My work colleagues were super open and always welcomed new work. The work time as well as work on are very easy and easy to accomplish. The accommodation was super nice and well located near the train or bus. And overall it was a very nice experience that I can only recommend.

Lukas was very supportive, I enjoyed spending time with him, and he took his job seriously.
I am sad that he will be returning to Germany soon, but I would be very happy if he came to love Japan even more through this experience.

The guest house was great along with Issei and Joe! The hostel is located in the best part of the city and is a close walk to tran stations, shops and more. The hostel is also really nice and with great coworkers. The managers are very helpful and are willing to help with anything. Recommend staying!
