Everyone has been kind and open-minded towards me. Fernando is a host with a big heart and I am infinitely grateful for the experience he gave me. Even if my español is not great, I feel like everyone was willing to teach me and connect with me. I made great friends. As this is a hostel that just reopened, help is appreciated wherever. For this volunteering opportunity, all you need is a willingness to help and Fernando is open to every idea anyone has. I would say that being fluent in español is a big plus because the language barrier was sometimes hard to get over. Thank you Fernando!

I had an amazing time at the hostel. All the staff was very welcoming and kind plus the location is amazing. Sometimes things like rules and tasks were a little unclear but the volunteer program is new there so that's very understandable. As said before I had a wonderful time overall being so close to the beach and the meals provided were delicious.
