I had a great time volunteering in the hostel. It is a wonderful place that creates a community atmosphere for the guests and the volunteers, you don't even feel like you are working because you have a lot of fun. It is also an amazing place to met new people and get involved in an interesting international experience and dynamic. I highly recommend volunteering with them!

My experience at this hostel was incredible! I got along so well with all the staff and other volunteers, the hostel itself is so cozy, and Koh Tao is easily the best place to spend a month in Thailand! I recommend getting a motorbike as its location is a bit inconvenient if you are walking. Hours were exactly as agreed upon and I got to do reception work, bartending, and host events! It is not a party hostel but very social and fun. I was given lots of freedom to come up with weekly group activities and to help out with social media. Any skills you have will definitely be welcomed here :)

Pasha was an amazing addition to our team during her month-long stay as volunteer. She consistently showed reliability and responsibility, adeptly managing tasks at the bar and reception. Beyond her duties, Pasha was great in making guests feel genuinely welcomed and included, enhancing their overall experience. Her awesome communication skills further facilitated smooth operations. We loved having her here and are really grateful for her hard work and positive attitude. Thank you, Pasha, for being amazing and we hope to see you again one day. The hostel may be one of the greatest places on this earth the volunteering and work was much like any other opportunity, but the owners Val and Pascal may be a pair of the greatest people I have ever met and what they do for the community is phenomenal, besides that the volunteer managers of blue and Steph at exceptional and so accomodating and you can see they have real love for the hostel and the island itself I cannot recommend this opportunity enough and wish I could of stayed forever!

I had a brilliant experience at the hostel! I really felt welcome and part of the team. Blue (manager) was amazing! So patient, funny and a pleasure to be around; super inspiring woman. The work was chilled and super fun in the evenings. The hostel itself has a cosy feel and you can tell a lot of love from owners Valerie and Pascal has gone into it which makes it a lovely environment to work in. This job really helped to boost my confidence and temporarily reestablish some sort of purpose in my life whilst travelling. Would highly recommend it! I would go back in a heartbeat!

I had the best time vonlunteering at the hostel! I met amazing people there and had so much fun. The staff was so welcoming and felt like family, it truly is home away from home ❤️ Working at the reception/bar was really fun and I still had plenty of time to explore the island! I learned so much there. Would recommend 1000%!!

Spent here all month and I can't complain! Valerie and the rest of the team are very warm, welcoming, sociable, always making sure that you are feeling ok and understand everything. There's nothing that the team can't arrange for you or help you dealing with. Pretty much every night is something happening, from pool tournament, to movies night or trivia night, with all the shifts being 5h, but very easy to handle and many times having colleagues to help you if you can't keep up (but that happens very rarely)

The hostel means home. I spent my time surrounded by wonderful people in a wonderful place, where volunteers, guests and owners created with their good vibes a magical place, a beautiful family. I'm really happy to have been part of this. As my first volunteering experience, I can't be happier. Thank you for everything, and see you very soon!!!

Amazing place, wonderful hosts and the best team of volunteers! the hostel Jungle Hostel is the best place to stay, meet travelers from around the world and gain amazing experience working at a hostel. The work is fair and working hours are respected. All the volunteers are flexible if any plans change, which is amazing. Working behind the bar and at reception allowed me to connect with guests and gain valuable skills. And there's so much to do in Koh Tao! I'd like to thank everyone, Valerie and Pascal, my fellow volunteers and the best guests for making my stay at the hostel so wonderful!
