I had such a good experience at the village on the camping. You are well looked after by the lovely Anthony and Jeppe who manage the village. The work is very reasonable and the guests and other volunteers are the camping. The island is an incredibly beautiful and special place, nothing quite like it!

I loved my stay on the camping! Everybody was so kind and I felt very welcome. The work is totally worth for what you get in return. Would definitely recommend to stay there a while to discover all of the island's beauty 😍

This was an amazing island idyll and Geoff's the camping has created a genuinely laid back, calm and fun vibe. Jeppe & Anthony are the camping managers. Theo can fix literally anything. I felt honoured to meet so many lovely people who were the camping fun to work beside and also relax. Hopefully some lifelong contacts have been made.

Just a piece of paradise. So beautiful and peaceful…The work was pretty easy (2/3 hours per day) and all the volunteers were just lovely. I enjoyed a lot this island : snorkeling, swimming, hiking…or even just a chill day in the village. I have made some the camping friends thanks to this volunteering. I recommend 100%!

My time at the village has been the most meaningful experience of my journey so far. There's something truly special about being in a space that feels so safe, open, and connected — not just to people, but to nature. The island itself is breathtaking, and I was lucky enough to meet souls who inspired me deeply. I loved starting each day with purposeful work, and spending the afternoons hiking through untouched landscapes or snorkeling in crystal-clear waters. I would recommend it to everyone who finds joy in simplicity and community ✨

I just spent the most amazing month at the GKI the camping! The hosts were so lovely and welcoming, and everyone working there was so friendly too! The work was good, and had most of the day to myself to explore this beautiful island. I can't wait to go back and visit!!

Had an amazing time at GKI! Theo, Jeppe and Anthony were truly incredible people who made the work not feel als work. The other volunteers were also very kind and fun people. With the beautiful environment, it really felt like I was on a different planet. I had the most peaceful and adventurous time there and miss it already. Recommendation: BRING MORE FOOD THAN YOU NEED! There is an option for grocery ordering, but the camping Konnection charges you too high delivery fees. It was definitely an experience that I would recommend, the work was fair and you have lots of free time. Thank you GKI!

How lucky I was to spend three beautiful weeks with these amazing people! The work isn't hard, it's only 3 hours a day, and then you have the rest of the day free to enjoy the real paradise. Rach, Ben, and their family are the kindest people, always welcoming us from the very beginning as part of the family. I highly recommend this experience, and I'm sure I'll be back someday! Thank you so much, the camping family!

What a beautiful project and experience! Rach and Ben were the loveliest hosts: so helpful, kind, supportive. They really go above and beyond to make volunteers feel at home and taken care of, and they create a beautiful work/community culture with clear boundaries, a relaxed environment and plenty of socialising opportunities after work. The facilities are clean and having your own room is such a treat. As for the island, it is truly breathtaking and having the chance to spend a long time in it is an absolute privilege. Forever grateful for this experience!
