I got into this experience after having heard about it from a friend. As another volunteer said, the difference is stark between Summer and Autumn/Winter. I enjoyed the more chilled days, with a mild weather and leaves falling (lots of raking, I loved it personally), which allowed us to connect more with the horses. I know in the Summer, there are several tours a day, meaning you meet lots of people, whereas in a month I only had about 6 tours. It was such a relaxing setting, and Tony, Marino and Elena are keen on making you participate to their daily life and explore the surrounding areas !

The farm is a truly special place — perfect for horse lovers. You spend most of the day with the horses, doing chores, going on rides, and cuddling the cats and dogs :) I enjoyed my stay and really appreciated meeting the kind family and the friendly volunteers. Visiting in October/November is different from summer, but for me it was perfect: more relaxed, fewer tours, more freedom in planning your day — and the weather was still good most days. Thank you to everyone who made my stay so positive and unforgettable.

I had an incredible time at the farm, Elena, Toni and their Family were amazing hosts we truly felt like a big Family ! Communication is clearly the key from the get go, as there is a lot to learn and to remember for the work with the horses and tourists, but you learn fast ;) I really appreciated the freedom we were given in the way we wanted to work and how we wanted to spend our time. Building amazing Friendships and being part of a team was amazing! A big thank you to Team the farm, Paige, Lola, Marie and Jade, this experience wouldn't have been the same without you!! ❤️🐴

Such an amazing experience with the most incredible people who were so warm, welcoming and respectful. Leaving with the best memories and remembering all the laughs we shared and friendships made was so bittersweet. I learnt so much about both the horses and the local culture. Thank you for the delicious meals and endless muffins. I hope to be back one day. Hvala from the bottom of my heart 🥰

My experience on the farm was beyond any expectations I could have. From the very beginning, everyone was so welcoming and made me feel at home, Elena and Toni are really amazing hosts. The work was always fun and never really felt like work. We had a lot of freedom in the way we decided to work with the horses but could always reach out if we needed help which was really enjoyable. I got to learn so much from Elena, Toni and all the other volunteers. the farm really is a special place, full of incredible people and horses that will make you never want to leave. I had an incredible experience volunteering! From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home thanks to the warm welcome from Elena, Toni, and their family, who were always there for us and super friendly. Working with the horses was amazing: we got to ride, prepare them for tourists, lunge them, and engage in various enriching tasks. The board game evenings added a fun touch to this unforgettable adventure. I highly recommend this experience ! Thank you again ❤️

My time at the farm has been amazing! I felt quickly at home. Elena, Toni and their family make sure that you are comfortable and have everything you need. The work with the horses everyday is a lot of fun and you can chose to do projects you like on days when the weather is not that good. I had a really good time during my stay here! The hosts were very welcoming and included us in their plans when they could. We got to work with and ride horses every day. Mostly training the young ones which was sometimes challenging but overall so much fun! The work was very reasonable and good to handle. I would definitely recommend coming here to everyone who gets the chance!! Thanks for everything the farm! 😃

The farm is such a special place. From the beginning you feel welcome by Elena, Toni and their parents. You feel like you're a part of the family and their culture. You get a lot of freedom with the horses and can decide how you want to work with them. It's important to know that you will work more than double the amount written, usually until sunset. If there is something you don't feel ok with on the farm, don't be afraid to speak with them. Thank you to everyone on the farm for an unforgettable time and special thanks to Daniel, it wouldn't have been the same without you.☺️
