Help me grow veggies in a small biological farm in Portugal

Tuve mi primera experiencia acá y fué muy buena, Miguel siempre atento y cuidadoso con los detalles, tuve muy buenas conversaciones y relaciones con André y Pedro que fueron súper conmigo. Las madrinas de Miguel fueron como mías propiamente, muy lindas personas♥️. Pasé navidad y año nuevo con la familia y fue genial con una rica cena, mejore mi Português, se cumplieron los tiempos del trabajo, tuve lo acordado, buena comida y un buen lugar para dormír y también paseos muy lindos en Aveiro y Mira pueblo local, bonitos paisajes en bicicleta que recomiendo realizar. Muy agradecida de la familia.

La experiencia fue buena. Las tareas de agricultura eran sencillas y fáciles de hacer. Hicimos las horas acordadas y nos daba descansos para comer algo sin problema. También les dimos de comer y beber a los animales. Miguel se preocupó por que siempre tuviésemos comida y fue muy amable en todo momento, al igual que su familia. Hay una parada de bus al lado, por lo que ir a ver otras ciudades no es difícil. Nuestro alojamiento estaba bien pero le faltaba algo de limpieza. Por lo demás, todo perfecto!

La experiencia con Miguel ha sido chula. Las tareas han sido bastante fáciles de realizar y hemos aprendido cosas sobre el huerto. La familia de Miguel ha sido súper cercana, nos han acogido como uno más. La casa donde estuvimos no estaba mal, pequeñita y bien para dos personas. Lo único a mejorar de esa casa sería la limpieza. Miguel siempre ha estado para nosotras cuando lo hemos necesitado, se ha preocupado por todo. Cada día nos preguntaba si dormimos bien y si necesitábamos algo, eso se agradece. Gracias Miguel por esta oportunidad :)

Fue mi primera experiencia Worldpacker y estoy muy feliz con ello. Miguel, André y Telma son muy buenas personas, amables y divertidos. Las tareas de la huerta son sencillas y los horarios muy flexibles. Compartimos con los anfitriones y también con su familia. Pronto vuelvo de visita! Me sentí como en casa y como parte de la familia ❤️. Una oración aparte para las madrinhas que han sido muy amorosas, compañeras y muy atentas 💖

Wow! I had the best time staying at Miguel's. He made sure I had everything I needed and I felt very comfortable to ask for questions or help in all areas. My room was very cozy and comfortable. Miguel and Telma are so kind and helpful— it didn't feel like work but fun learning. The farm and animals are beautiful. I had many moments with a profound connection to nature and I am leaving with a lot of clarity for my future. I felt like I truly connected with the experience and my hosts, I will certainly return to see the progress of the farm and deepen this connection! Thank you so much!

Miguel, Thelma, and Andre were very welcoming and accommodating. They are inspiring people who care deeply about their permaculture project, family, and friends. I did a range of tasks such as tending to the vegetable patches, sorting a shed, and building a chicken coop. The work was fun and varied. I shared the experience with three amazing Worldpackers, we chatted between breaks and during meals. On the weekends, we went on several outings to Praia de Mira, local restaurants, and holiday celebrations. The dorm where I slept was cozy. I would prepare for an outdoor experience. Obrigada xx

A família de Miguel é muito acolhedora, me fizeram me sentir em casa, passamos inclusive, datas comemorativas juntos e foi muito bom.A casa onde fiquei era compartilhada pois iam tomar banho, o único detalhe negativo é que era muito fria e apesar de ter lareira não há lenha e o local não suporta aquecedor. Então sugiro que comprem lenha (e também repelente pois é um sítio). Apesar de ter sido uma boa experiência, tive que sair 1 semana antes pois Miguel me disse que não poderia cumprir o anunciado de 3 refeições diárias, o que me trouxe alguns transtornos. De qualquer forma agradeço!

Miguel seems nice and I hope that as he gains more experience hosting he will be able to offer a better experience than I had. Sleeping arrangements were not ideal. I slept in a caravan. To get to the toilet in the house I had to cross fields and farmyards with tricky gates and no lighting - just my luck this coincided with my period. I unfortunately didn't get to work as I arrived on the weekend, then was sick, then cut my stay short as by day 3, I was covered in the itchiest bites. Miguel assured me he would clean the caravan. Grateful to Worldpackers support team for responsive help.

This was my first time doing worldpackers. Miguel and Andre were very welcoming and made me feel at home. The tasks were easy and i had plenty of free time to explore the surrounding nature. While the living conditions were a bit rustic, overall it was a good experience.
