I had a great time at the lodge. It's such a peaceful place, just perfect to enjoy some quiet and immerse in nature. The work consists mainly of washing dishes and making the rooms. You have a lot of free time to chill in one of the hammocks or cuddle the cats and dogs:) I would love to come back on my next trip to Laos

The lodge and Michele had been really welcoming! The stay was perfect to reset while travelling and enjoy the nature a lot. The tasks were really easy and I had a lot of time to read. The animals at the place are adorable!!

Well, it's a charming and beautiful place! I started to like the place more and more for each day, the more simple life:) I did farmwork which was fun but also sometimes repetitive. In the afternoons i had my freetime and just chilled more down. Anyways, the stay was a great way to come close to nature and have a relaxed, great time! Really glad i applied. I actually hope to maybe come back sometime:)

My time at the lodge was truly amazing. Michele and the lodge are great and the Guesthouse itself is really beautiful! It's a few rooms just by the side of the river and it is so calm. I did housekeeping and cleaning, so I redid the rooms, did the laundry and cleaned the kitchen and dishes after use. I definitly recommend if you want some time to relax and want to live in the most beautiful place!!

I stayed 10 days with Michele and the lodge and the experience was delightful! I would say that the lodge's guesthouse is one of my favorites places in LAOS. So peaceful, surrounded by the nature, delicious and health food. I helped with the garden, doing everything that Michele needed. Sometimes the work is a bit hard, but Michele is really flexible and he is always happy to adapt the work if it is needed. Hope to come back soon

The lodge's Farm is a lovely place to come if you want to have some time to chill in nature. The routine is the same everyday which is nice as you get lots of free time. the lodge and Michele are kind and help you out with transport etc. I do feel like the experience could be a bit more collaborative with the lodge and Michele. Overall though, I would recommend this experience to others as you da range of different activities on the farm.

It was a great first experience for both of us ! We worked at the farm, work wasn't hard and changed every day. We could work in the garden, with the animals or in ricefields ! We worked 3-4hours in the morning and rest of the day was off ! The guesthouse is a really Nice place near the river where we could chill, go tubing, bicycling and enjoy the views. Fiew things you should know before coming : if you applie for the farm, you will stay there, wich is a different place than the guesthouse (10min walk away). You should take clothes and shoes that can get dirty, specially for rice field.

I've been enjoying my stay at the lodge's, as it's been very calm and relaxing, and in beutiful surroundings. The work is straightforward and pretty ok, kind of what you would expect out of farm work. You do have a lot of free time, which is a nice opportunity to read or relax. I do wish, especially since it's a rural place, that there would be more interest in showing us around or getting to know us, so we/I maybe would feel more like a part of the team, not just a worker. That being said, both Michele and the lodge is nice, and I do understand that they have a lot of work to do during the day.

Is was a great time for me The farm is located in a very beautiful and remote area, you can really connect and see the local life around there You actually get to work in the farm like any other worker, a lot of working with your hands and get in touch with the nature and the animals A great opportunity to ask questions and learn about the local life
