I went to the Center as my first worldpackers trip, and my first solo trip at all, and I had such an amazing experience, it was everything I was looking for. I didn't have the chance to meet the owners, but Amelia the manager was a wonderful host! She was so welcoming, patient and flexible. She's easygoing, always smiling and she takes care of everything with a lot of love. The tasks I had were not complicated, well explained and the work hours were always respected, even shorter sometimes. I met amazing people there and had a lot of fun, I will surely come back in the future!

My second experience at the Center was very lovely, and now I truly feel like this place is another home for me! This time, I rented a car to explore the surrounding area. Dan and Amelia have such beautiful vibes and made me feel welcome and comfortable. If you love nature with tranquility, this place in the winter is perfect. I can't wait for the next time I can come back! 🤭

The living dwelling had a lot of black mould on each wall and ceiling service. The mattress was actually a piece of foam so had very little sleep and a lot of back pain during the stay. Meals were not offered as per agreement. Host tried to get volunteers to work additional hours with little care for their wellbeing. No organisation was present for yoga classes as guests walked around trying to make a booking but unable to ever get a response from host. Maybe my expectation was too high but I genuinely feel for volunteers that arrive and don't know how to set their own personal boundaries.

I’m sorry your experience didn’t meet expectations.I wish you had spoken to me directly so I could have addressed your concerns.Cleanliness is a priority, and a new mattress was available if requested.Breakfast was provided and I cooked several meals.I promoted yoga classes but guests didn’t confirm.Work hours were respected and often shorter, you can see that in Noemi review"the work hours were always respected, even shorter sometimes". I strive to create a welcoming environment for all.

Had such amazing experiences with beautiful people and nature (5 mins to the beach and lots of greenery). Unfortunately I couldn't meet the owners themselves during my stay, who I can easily imagine to be as open-minded and warm as those I met here. The manager made sure to support me from the first day to cook vegetarian dishes and I enjoyed learning lots of new things. You can use organic ingredients from the garden and some Asian seasonings. Also met people with artistic talent which expanded my horizon. Definitely recommended, and I would love to come back soon again with my experiences :)

I loved my experience at the Center, the work was exactly as described in the listing and the atmosphere of the retreat was really special with lots of lovely people chatting, spending time with one another and enjoying lunch together every day.

My experience at the Center was life-changing, and I met some amazing people along the way. I'm so grateful to the Center, as my stay truly felt like being at home. I would recommend renting a car, as there is no public transportation available. The entire experience was transformative for me. I loved the Center and its people, and I felt more free and like myself than I ever do in Turkey. the Center is a cozy place surrounded by nature, though I definitely suggest bringing something to protect against mosquitoes. ;)

The Center was truly an amazing experience! Met some incredible people and spent the two weeks exploring the island when we could :) Work was very reasonable although you will get some interesting tasks, but it's always fun when you're working together. The food was great and it was nice to have family meals together! Prepare to be in nature and enjoy the drums down at the beach every night :) Dan and Amelia did a great job at managing and making sure everyone felt comfortable in their tasks! Would love to come back soon

It was one of the best experience ever!⭐️ I had the opportunity to meet amazing people all around the world and connect with them. Dan and Amelia were amazing and ready to help every time that it was necessary. The place is beautiful and so peaceful. It was my first time volunteering and I couldn't ask for a better place. It was a perfect opportunity to see the non-commercial side of the Center. 10/10 lifetime experience!🫂❤️
